- Each No Angels member was initially being "assigned" one specific element and persona, similar to the Spice Girls' individual images. Nadja was chosen to represent wind because of her long, flowing hair and soaring voice.
- The No Angels' "elements" personas can be observed in the European video for "Daylight in Your Eyes", which was the group's first ever music video. The group had major input regarding hairstyles and outfits in the video as well as ideas for future performances. - At her own suggestion, her hair was straightened and fit with extensions for the European video of "Daylight in Your Eyes" and the foreseeable future because "we are already so many curlyheads in the group". - While still contestants at Popstars (2000) she and Sandy Mölling struggled a lot with choreographies and dancing in general. Up until that time, Nadja had virtually no dancing experience whatsoever. Jessica Wahls, who also attended the Popstars casting in Frankfurt am Main, would often help her practice.
- Her long-haired tabby cat Jeany, who Nadja got when she was 10, was still alive as of 2009.
