- Graduated from Colorado College in 1994 with a math degree.
- Though he received a "C" in Japanese, he moved to Japan after graduating. There he met his wife (Hisako), had a son (Toufuu), and continued to reside in Nagoya until his untimely passing.
- Fisher fell seven stories off of the roof of a club in Osaka. The autopsy suggests that he died instantly.
- Nominated in 2003 for the prestigious comic industry Eisner Awards for his work on "Flash: Time Flies" and "Vertigo Pop: Tokyo".
