Following my article on how to orchestrate the melody within the string section, in this article I would like to explain various ways in which we can give the harmony to the string section. While Mr.Korsakov and “Principles of Orchestration Online” have done a brilliant job of explaining these principles, I would like to present the material in a more concise and organized way.
