Sad news, UK Bat-fans - Channel 5 has announced that Gotham won’t return to British shores until 2016…
Here’s an odd one – even though Gotham season 2 has already kicked off in the USA, we won’t get it on UK screens until 2016.
We don’t have a definite date yet, but, even if it airs on New Year's Day, we’ll still be over three months behind the American broadcast speed.
This surprising news broke on Twitter, where the official GothamOn5 account posted a Tweet that reads like this: “UK fans, season two of #Gotham will be shown on @channel5_tv in 2016.”
In the age of online streaming, simulcasts and social media spoilers, over three months is a long time to wait for the episodes to travel across the pond. There’s been no reason for this delay clarified by Fox, Warner Bros. or Channel 5.
In the meantime, our review...

Omnilab Media has lost its Federal Court appeal against an earlier decision that it knowingly assisted a former Digital Cinema Network director to breach the Corporations Act. It appears to conclude a long-running case that centred on a decision by the Independent Cinemas Association of Australia (Icaa) to employ an Omnilab company to continue virtual print fee (Vpf) negotiations on its behalf, ending its original relationship with Digital Cinema Network (Dcn). The VPFs are paid by Us studios to help local cinemas upgrade from 35mm film to digital projection. Flynn (Tony Dension) has just attended his AA meeting, when a man approaches him to speak about the meeting and how he stays sober. As Flynn leaves and heads towards his car, he is attacked by a man with a knife. Flynn manages to shoot him and calls Captain Raydor (Mary McDonnell) for help. He gives her his gun and tells her what happened before passing out. At the hospital, he wakes to find Provenza (Gw Bailey) at his bedside with a balloon, stating "It's a girl." That's all they had, how did I know that's what he'd say? Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) is also there. Raydor tells Flynn if he can describe his attacker and ID him, then she'll take on the case, but if he can't then Major Crimes can investigate. He says he can't and when she leaves he says he knows what his attacker looked like. He...
