Nathalie Emmanuel is the latest star to join the voice cast of the immersive animated series “Ghosts of Ruin.”
The announcement that the “Game of Thrones” and “Fast and Furious” franchise costar would bring her voice talents to the new series was made during the “Ghosts of Ruin” Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday.
“Literally, I’m emailing the agents right now in this panel,” executive producer Michael Ramey quipped, underscoring just how “real time” the news had developed.
In May, Variety exclusively revealed that Rosario Dawson and Tony Revolori had joined the cast of the animated series, which follows a group of gamers as they compete in the first-ever neural reality battle royale game, named “Ruin.” However, a malicious virus appears and transforms their utopia into hell.
Emmanuel will voice Dr. Angela Tucci, who Stippec teases is “a very monumental, pivotal character in the run of the show.

Three years after finishing “The Human Centipede” trilogy, Dutch writer/director Tom Six is officially set to return to theaters with his latest horror shocker “The Onania Club.” While specific plot details have thus far remained a mystery, the newly released first official trailer introduces a woman protagonist aroused by scenes of immense violence or tragedy. Distracted from her marriage, child, and friendships, she discovers an underground group of women with similar predilections. Early promotion for the movie promised “one of the most vile, inhumane movie experiences of all time,” and anyone familiar with “The Human Centipede” trilogy knows that Six can deliver.
Here’s the official synopsis: “Hanna secretly joins a group called The Onania Club. Its members, strong independent L.A. bound women, get aroused by the misery of others. Hanna meets more misery than she could ever hope for and in the process loses everything she holds dear.

Stars: Sarah Butler, Jennifer Landon, Doug McKeon, Gabriel Hogan, Harley Jane Kozak, Michelle Hurd, Megan Raich, Russell Charles Pitts, Karen Strassman, Andrew Dits, Adam Dunnells, Christopher Hoffman, Alissa Juvan | Written by Daniel Gilboy | Directed by R.D. Braunstein
Yep, this the third film (and probably won’t be the last) in the revamped franchise, but is actually the sequel to the remake which makes the second film that much more useless and quite frankly unneeded. That being said, as absurd as the plot of the second entry is, it does have one thing going for it that this film does not; actual entertainment value. Oh boy, this is going to be tough!
In a nutshell, I Spit on Your Grave 3: Vengeance Is Mine sees Sarah Butler reprise her role as Jennifer Hills. She finds herself in therapy. She then proceeds to tell us about her experiences with a support group she becomes a part of.

The Raven‘s plot synopsis: “In this gritty thriller, Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack, Being John Malkovich) joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans, Immortals) to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders. It was one of the things that made anime, well, anime. Lately we’re seeing fewer extras, as the industry and the economy as a whole have been forced to makes some painful cuts to stay alive. But if you’re longing for some of those good old days, not to worry. Funimation is about to release an entire collection of bonus material,...
