A long-rumored video of James Gandolfini reprising his Emmy-winning role of Tony Soprano has been unearthed.
The footage (below) has Gandolfini and his co-star Edie Falco back in their roles as The Sopranos power couple Tony and Carmela.
The clip was privately produced in 2010 — three years after the HBO drama’s finale — in an effort to lure LeBron James to the New York Knicks.
The scene takes place “Two Years Later,” following the end of the show. “Yeah, life’s good here Carm, even if we are in the witness protection program,” Tony says to his wife. Then, they discussed the possibility of James moving to New York and finding him the perfect home: Madison Square Garden. The video was obtained by former ESPN host Pablo Torre and aired on his Pablo Torre Finds Out podcast. The scene starts at the 9:30-minute mark.

Fans of ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” might get something next week they won’t be expecting — a tribute to hockey.
The Disney-backed sports-media giant expects to spend part of its next halftime show treating viewers to a concert as well as a surprise visit from someone who is emblematic of the icy pastime, says Mark Gross, senior vice president of production and remote events, in an interview. He declined to name the person likely to appear. The weekly football showcase “exposes a large audience to the NFL and a larger audience” to a new NHL schedule slated to start the very next night, says the executive.
“We haven’t had hockey in close to 20 years,” he adds. “When you lose a property and then you get it back? That doesn’t happen every day.”

For the last few years, developer EA Vancouver has been working toward creating the best hockey experience on the market. Each year, they’ve added new features and tweaked older, more established ones, and incrementally, the NHL franchise gotten better and better. For NHL 19, it all comes together to present one of the best hockey games ever, and while that’s an admittedly heady declaration, there’s still room for improvement.
As with most sports video games, there’s not much more you can do to represent that actual sport. EA Vancouver checked the boxes in recent years with their incredible stick control options and player-controlled dekes, and last year’s entry even gave the player more control on the ice, creating options for between-the-leg passes and multiple ways to shoot the puck, accentuating finesse as much as force.

The truth is I'm a spoiled brat. Even though MTV News doesn't pay me like a millionaire (I'm working on that, by the way), the perks that come with the job are pretty insane. I have been to Africa with 50 Cent, have partied with Young Jeezy and Rick Ross, interviewed everyone from Jessica Alba to Micky Rourke and have a photo album on Facebook that garners as much attention as it does haters. But nothing — and I really do mean nothing — compares to the most recent celebrity visit we had on Wednesday (April 14): Lord Stanley's Cup.
That's right sports fans! The most coveted trophy in all of sports made its way into the MTV Newsroom for a highly-anticipated visit.
