This article discusses the real-life story of The Von Erichs and as such could be viewed as containing spoilers for "The Iron Claw."
Sean Durkin's "The Iron Claw" is the tearjerker film of the year, one that I called "emotionally eviscerating" in my review as it takes a folkloric look at the real-life tragedies of the Von Erich wrestling dynasty. The film focuses on Kevin, David, Kerry, and Mike Von Erich throughout the 1980s and early '90s, a decade filled with unimaginable deaths and heartache. Despite this, "The Iron Claw" ends with a bit of optimism, and a cathartic release for Kevin Von Erich, known as "The Last of the Von Erichs." The film ends sometime in the 1990s and given the harrowing true story at the center of the film, non-wrestling fans might be wondering what happened to Kevin Von Erich and the rest of the family in the years that followed.

Zac Efron has truly broken out of his Disney teeny bopper phase, and one of his upcoming movies, Iron Claw, is earning major praise from the person he’s portraying.
Kevin von Erich, one of the famed members of the von Erich wrestling, is offering high praise to Zac Efron: “It’s gonna be a hard job, I think, it’s a lot of information and a lot of time and so they’ve got some tough work ahead of them, but I saw of a picture of the guy and he looked great…I don’t think I ever looked that good, so I think they’re going to do great. I’ll bet they do.”
Kevin von Erich expanded, saying, “I’ll tell ya, for the picture that they showed me at first and the picture they showed me the other day he must really be working out hard because you’re right,...

Welcome to this week’s Mlw: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Mlw debuted on Vice TV on Saturday. It showed a rerun of the episode where Davey Boy Smith Jr. clobbered ol Simon Gotch in that No Holds Barred Match. It’s nice see this league on a more known channel. I hope this additional TV home for Mlw leads to a better level if production value to this already well-produced show. Can you… Giant Gary Coleman: Watchoo talkin’ ’bout Willis?! Me: Oh my G… Gcc: I’mma smash yo ass! Me: Oh no you won’t! Giant Emmanuel Lewis: Dynomite! Gcc: That ain’t even yo catchphrase! Jimmy Walker: That’s mine! Dynomite! Daphne Zuniga: Get your black asses over here and f–k the Schwartz out of me! Me: Look at the size of those whammers! I gotta get out of here!

Welcome to this week’s Mlw: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a special event called Kings Of Colosseum. We’ve got a title match and a flaming bag of doggie-doo-doo on Mr. Galp’s door-step…old bastard. I want my Frisbee back! Shut up and read the review, arttard!
Match #1: The Von Erichs def. The Dirty Blondes (w/ Aria Blake) – Bunkhouse Match For World Tag Team Championships The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Bell rings and neither team wastes any time as the two teams go right at it. The Blondes try to isolate Ross Von Erich, but a stereo double dropkick by the brothers changes all that and sends the Blondes to the outside. The teams begin to brawl all over. It even spills through the locker room and to the outside of the arena. Ross sends Patrick careening...

Major League Wrestling have announced a Grudge Match for their Kings of Colosseum special next month: Simon Gotch vs. Jordan Oliver!
For almost 8 months Jordan Oliver and Myron Reed have wanted to get Contra in the ring or on the street. On May 9th, Contra Unit attacked Mlw during the Super Series. During the chaos, Contra took out a member Injustice. Since then, Reed and Oliver have been calling out various members of Contra, with Jordan Oliver targeting Gotch. This led to an altercation in September on Pulp Fusion where Jordan Oliver was jumped from behind and choked out by Gotch. Now the stage is set Gotch/Oliver in a grudge match. Will Contra play a role in this fight? Will Jordan Oliver get some justice?

Major League Wrestling have announced that National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone vs. Mads Krügger for the championship at Kings Of Colosseum on January 6 at 7pm Et available on YouTube, Fubo Sports, Pluto TV. The event is being presented for free on all platforms.
Since storming into Mlw at #TheRestart, “Mads Krügger has put Mlw in a death grip. Putting Hammerstone in the hospital and on the shelf for a month, the “Black Hand of Contra” would dominate all in his campaign of violence since debuting November 18. Undefeated and vowing to crush Hammerstone, Contra’s masked mercenary is a threat to everyone.
Recently cleared to return to the ring, Hammerstone wants a piece of the man who severely injured him and he’ll now have that chance January 6th at Kings of Colosseum. Hammerstone emerged during Contra’s hostile takeover as the man who would spearhead taking back Mlw from Contra...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have another match in the Opera Cup and a Tag Team Title Match that will have two teams. Shocking! Do you wanna buy a watch? Do you know what time it is? It’s time to buy a new watch. So…do you wanna buy a watch? What do ya mean ya don’t wanna buy a watch?! Did you not just see my clever joke? I worked really hard on that! F— you! Enjoy your wrestling card…schmuck!
Match #1: Zenshi vs. Calvin Tankman The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
The Chilean high-flier enters the ring and looks ever-ready, but he’s likely have his biggest challenge ahead of him (both in the figurative and literal sense) in league newcomer, Calvin Tankman. Zenshi is soon to go for the legs of Tankman,...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Amber Heard tricking the whole damn planet into thinking Johnny Depp abused her, when she’s actually just a lying psychopath. Good luck starring in Lifetime’s murder mystery of the week, darlin’. Okay, we’ve got some good wrestling to get to, so let’s rock.
Match #1: Davey Boy Smith Jr. defeated Simon Gotch – No Holds Barred Match The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
If there ever was a Bulldog’s determination to an individual, Davey certainly has it tonight as he squares off against the veteran Contra member. Davey is the initial aggressor as he downs Gotch to the canvas, but Simon forces him out of the ropeless ring. Davey leaps right back up and lock up again. The feeling out process continues until Davey rolls Gotch down.

Welcome to this week’s edition of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here in Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and there are a bunch of wrestling things to discuss, so let’s do so. This is a few weeks late, so sue me.
Best Promo:
Rowan Is His Own Man (WWE) – Erick Rowan cut a great promo where he told every-one he attacked Roman Reigns for his own benefit. This might have been the best option for Rowan. Hell, this is the best thing that’s ever happened in his career. Good for him.
Best Moment:
Nxt Debuts On USA (WWE) – What can I say? This is pretty cool. It might only be the first hour, but Nxt getting on network television is some-thing that wasn’t in the cards a few years ago, so this is a win.
Best Move:
Six Star Frog Splash (Impact Wrestling) – Willie Mack...

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and it’s all about War Chamber. Hey, screw War Games. Nxt can go !@#$ itself. Alright, let’s get to the mayhem.
Match #1: Leo Brien defeated Blake Banks The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
A returning Leo Brien comes firing out into the Nytex Sports Centre to start off Fusion from Dallas. The once turned bounty hunter from Colorado was ruthless and relentless, making very quick work against his young opponent Blake Banks. He threw Banks across the ring by his ears (not a typo) before prepping him up for an Oklahoma Stampede for the devastating 1-2-3. Rich Bocchini said it perfectly: “Leo Brien means business” and the Dirty Blonde gives a final stomp to Blake before exiting.
My Opinion: 2.3 out of 5 – This was a squash that was over...

Welcome to this week’s review of Major League Wrestling: Fusion, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a wild main event to get to, so get your crazy pills out and get ready to go…crazy. That was supposed to be an Ozzy Osbourne reference, but it’s hard to do that line without screaming. Okay, let’s get in there and watch some Mlw.
Match #1: Richard Holliday versus Teddy Hart (No Contest)
My Opinion: 0 out of 5 – This was just an excuse to do one of those stolen title angles. Holliday stole the Mlw Middle-Weight Championship while Mjf jaw-jacked with Teddy Hart. Yeah, it’s as exciting as it sounds.
Match #2: Jordan Oliver beat Isaias Velazquez
My Opinion: 2.5 out of 5 – This was a good little match featuring two talented wrestlers. The action was easy to watch, like a lamb piloting a B-52 bomber.

Welcome to this week’s Major League Wrestling: Fusion review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have more from one of the most interesting leagues around today. Let’s not waste any time. Here comes The Monkees…oh…oh $#!@. I got the wrong one. You know what the thing is called. Hopefully, the matches are better than my introduction.
Match #1: Air Wolf defeated Rey Fenix The following is courtesy of mlw.com:
Nineteen-year-old rookie sensation Air Wolf has become quite a fan favorite in his short time in Mlw. He may have gained a new fan in one half of the Lucha Bros — Rey Fenix. Air Wolf and Fenix squared off and while Air Wolf took a beating from Fenix, he managed to avoid being pinned by the veteran luchadore. Air Wolf had his moments throughout the match, including a pair of German suplexes that were absolute beauties.
