Jake is a Swedish/American musician and actor best known for his work as a backing musician on America's Got Talent and being the touring bass player for Ska-Punk legends; Save Ferris.
Growing up in the Netherlands, Jake began his musical journey playing within his school music and theatre departments but shortly ventured out to playing professionally within the dutch community. Before reaching the age of 18, Jake had the honor of being selected to perform with a series of traveling ensembles and multiple international jazz festivals and performed in countries such as; France, Switzerland, India, Malaysia, and many more.
From there on, Jake took his talents to Boston, MA, and studied electric bass performance at the Berklee College of Music. Jake studied under legendary music educators such as Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, John Patitucci, Anthony Vitti, and many more before relocating to Los Angeles in his pursuit of becoming a session musician.
Jake quickly found work by being invited to perform with blues rock singer Noah Guthrie in the quarter-finals of America's Got Talent Season 13. Jake soon found a home within this production, as he has been a returning musician on the show ever since. Aside from television, Jake is commonly performing around the greater Los Angeles area and the rest of the country with a large variety of bands, artists, and event companies.
