Toured the LA club scene in the mid 80s as a drummer in the band
Lippy's Garden. Their 1985 record was co-produced by Greg Pasetta, son
of Marty Pasetta.
While at the University of Southern California, he was the drummer in a band with Disney Producer/Director Dan Povenmire. They were both students at the time and shared an office at The Daily Trojan campus newspaper.
Sang the National Anthem on the playing field at Dodger stadium when 11 years old with 5 others as a member of Robert Schuller's HOP boys choir.
