Title: Chalet Girl Director: Phil Traill Starring: Felicity Jones, Ed Westwick, Tamsin Egerton, Bill Bailey, Bill Nighy, Brooke Shields, Sophia Bush, Ken Duken, Nicholas Braun, Tara Dakides Sliding into Chalet Girl is the equivalent of being transported into a cute 96 minute extended anecdote. Set on a glamorous ski resort in Austria, this coming-of-age/rom-com is just too cute to rip on. Yes there is cliched storytelling techniques found within the movie mechanics and the outcome is never in question. But the seasonal atmosphere is fun to take-in, and the British style of acting provides a nice change-of-pace in an all too familiar tale. 19 year-old Kim (Felicity Jones) had a...

Eight ladies who can tough it out in the snow make up the Women's Us Team for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
Lindsey Jacobellis is the first face in the preview video below. She won the silver medal in women's snowboard cross in 2006. She might have gotten the gold since she had a three-second lead over her competitor, but she decided to showboat with an unnecessary method grab on her last jump that caused her to mess up her landing and fall. That's got to sting. Here's hoping she can get the gold this time around.
Kelly Clark is also a member of the team. She won a gold for the women's halfpipe in the 2002 Winter Olympics, but didn't place in 2006 in Italy. Instead, she lost out to the following two teammates.

David Letterman found some gold again in Dr. Phil McGraw, the Beatles' celebration, and snowboarder Tara Dakides on Monday night as CBS' Late Show reached its highest rating in the metered markets since Feb. 17, 2003 -- when Dr. Phil was a guest. Dakides returned -- on the sofa -- after suffering injuries from a stunt she attempted on the show last Thursday. Letterman averaged a 6.0/14 in the 55 metered markets and defeated NBC's Tonight Show with Jay Leno who earned a 5.1/12. It marked Letterman's best overnight rating since Nov. 4, 2003 when he returned following the birth of his son. In the past, Leno has always overcome the one-shot boosts Letterman has received to win the week, and when the national ratings come in, has even beaten Letterman on the nights CBS won in the overnights.
