Stuti is an actor and classically trained singer with a background in Investment Banking and Consulting. She made the switch from Finance into Media and Communications after realizing that she prefers to interact more directly with an audience, rather than B2B. Stuti is a versatile performer who has played a range of characters from Disney princesses to an adulterous murderer and a no-nonsense detective. A SAG-AFTRA member since 2015, she has acted in theatrical, commercial, modeling and print projects spanning TV, feature film, music videos, improv, singing, hosting, internet, industrials, hand modeling, lifestyle modeling and fashion modeling. This includes acting / modeling contracts for clients as varied as NBC, Apple, Revlon and Princess Cruises. Stuti has also been privileged to serve twice on the SAG Awards Motion Picture Nominating Committee, which is a crash course in itself on how feature film marketing and publicity works.
Stuti loves big and unique challenges. At 20, she moved to Manhattan to work on Wall Street after landing an investment banking job whose odds were 1 in 10,000. In 2015, she booked her first hand modeling contract with Apple in San Francisco. In 2017, she booked the first self-tape she ever submitted, to work as a Princess Performer in live children's entertainment for 2 years playing beloved princesses from Jasmine to Moana to Belle. In 2018, she began a 2-year improvisational role play engagement with Meta / Facebook to train their managers on hard and career conversations using round robin simulations. In 2019, she booked the first TV pilot she ever auditioned for, and got the call an hour after moving to Los Angeles. What better Film & TV debut could a performer ask for than to sing directly to series lead Jane Levy in the first 11 minutes of a prime-time NBC musical dramedy!
A multilingual lover of the art of communication, Stuti speaks 6 languages including English, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, Spanish and Sanskrit. She was raised in India, the Philippines, US and UK and has studied at Cornell, the LSE and Berkeley Rep. A skilled writer and literary editor, Stuti has written an hour-long drama pilot about a nurse in a psych ward, which she developed with a former nurse from a Bay Area psychiatric hospital. She has also developed a 75-minute one-woman cabaret show titled 'Miss Mandala's Colors' to explore human emotion through a prism of original songs and WWII era jazz. From running through a landslide at 19,550 feet in the Tibetan Himalayas to feeling the incredible rush of connecting with a live audience, Stuti lives for the joy of communicating an authentic range of feeling with the sincere hope that it empowers her audience to do the same.
