“Go ahead,” the fates told Grey’s Anatomy’s Owen and Teddy in Thursday’s episode. “Take a day off work. But don’t expect work to take a day off you. Muahaha.” Yup, the marrieds’ attempt to reconnect with one another and nature at the same time led straight to a young woman who had fallen into a rocky hole. If it makes them feel any better, things weren’t going much more smoothly back at Grey Sloan. (Are they ever?) Read on, and we’ll go over everything that happened in “Blood, Sweat and Tears.”

A new era is dawning at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Or is it a rehash of an earlier era?
As of the close of Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 1, Bailey is the new head of the internship program. Again.
Yes, Bailey is a true icon, and great cheers erupted across the internet when she began her famous opening line - "I have five rules."
While all long-time Grey's viewers love an excellent callback, are the writers relying on nostalgia and semi-recycled storylines to maintain that level of success?
And if they are, is that a bad thing?
We've seen several intern classes over the years, and to be honest, a lot of them are forgettable. This is the first class where the writers attempt to recapture the magic or, in this case, M.A.G.Y.K.
Yes, the original Magic used first names, and this one uses last names, so...

We didn’t need a storm warning to know that Grey’s Anatomy’s Bailey would bring the thunder in Thursday’s episode. Stepping in for Nick, of course the interns’ new taskmaster was quick to warn the “surgical cowboys” that they had a long road ahead before they’d wrangle another procedure — and that was if they got to wrangle another procedure! Keep reading, and we’ll review all of the major twists of plot in “Keep the Family Close.”

An unknown man in his underwear walked through a live TV interview on right-wing network Newsmax, which featured the network’s anchor Rob Schmitt and conservative political commentator, Dick Morris.
On January 15, Schmitt was reporting on the likely outcome of the 2024 Iowa Republican caucus with Morris.
During this interview, the political commentator was telling Schmitt what a win at this caucus could mean for GOP candidates like Nikki Haley and Donald Trump.
“Well, I think Trump is going to score a huge victory,” he stated. “I think the media is going to try to downplay it because, as you correctly said, they’re basically supporting Nikki Haley.”
When Morris was nearly halfway done with this statement, the large unknown man wearing nothing but a white tank top and black boxer shorts walked into the room in which Morris was doing his live shot.
The interview and Morris continued on without commenting on the odd sight.

Those who called time-of-death on Grey’s Anatomy’s “Schmico” may have been a bit hasty. Alex Landi revealed on Instagram that he is reprising his role of Schmitt’s ex, Dr. Nico Kim, in Season 20 of the long-running ABC drama.

With the Season 19 finale of Grey’s Anatomy just over a month away, Thursday’s back-to-back episodes of ABC’s resurgent drama brought several storylines to major crossroads. One of our attendings was ready to throw caution to the wind and declare their love, another was dealt a heartbreaking blow, and two more “played doctor” when we least expected it. Who’s who? Let’s consult the chart. Er, the recap.
‘You Are Donuts In Human Form’ | In “Shadow of Your Love,” a patient who’d tried to mail himself to his girlfriend as a grand gesture inspired very different reactions from Teddy and Owen.

Hey, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. So in Thursday’s Grey’s Anatomy, it shouldn’t have come as any surprise to Simone that Lucas took someone else to bed. She did, after all, accept jerky ex-fiancé Trey’s marriage re-proposal last week. (Read that recap here.)
In other twists of plot, Lucas and Blue volunteered to pull what just might be the ultimate d–k move, Owen managed to stun Teddy anew (did they even like each other anymore?), and alas, things were looking bleak for Natalia, the patient whose divorce ceremony was the most romantic on record.
