Luke Combs tops the list of the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards nominees, earning eight nominations including Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (artist and producer nominations), Single of the Year (artist and producer nominations), Song of the Year, and Music Event of the Year. Megan Moroney and Morgan Wallen followed with six ACM Awards nominations each, with Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson scoring five nominations.
Moroney, 2024’s top ACM Awards nominated female artist, will be competing in the Female Artist of the Year, New Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year (artist and songwriter), Visual Media of the Year, and Music Event of the Year categories. Luke Combs won his second Entertainer of the Year honor, and Lainey Wilson and Cody Johnson were also double winners at tonight’s 56th annual Country Music Association Awards.
“I want to thank country music for making my dreams come true,” Combs said in accepting the top honors. “This is my fifth or sixth year being at this awards show, and country sounded a lot more country than it has in a long time,” he added.
