It was the twerk seen 'round the world - and it was all Miley's idea. Cyrus, 20, had been working on the VMAs performance of her hit "We Can't Stop" - along with her racy duet with Robin Thicke - for about a month before MTV's big awards show on Sunday. "Most it came from Miley's brain," Cyrus's manager Larry Rudolph tells People. "But she collaborated with [her music video director] Diane Martel, who helped her conceive it and bring in the spirit of the VMAs. And with Todd James who designed all of those amazing bears." Though her skimpy, flesh-colored outfit, her suggestive use...

It's clear that people were, uh, unhappy with Miley Cyrus' performance during MTV's VMAs this year. However, one of the more memorable aspects of her shock-and-awe-inducing performance was the crew of massive, cartoonish teddy bears on stage. The man behind the sleepy-eyed beasts is New York-based contemporary artist Todd James, who began his career with graffiti, a 17-year-old tagging in the New York City subway system under the moniker Reas. His past work includes designing the Beastie Boys' Brooklyn Dust Elephant emblem, as well as creating The Source magazine's logo. Photos: Miley Cyrus' Most Controversial Moments While

We've already got "Spring Breakers" fatigue and the movie hasn't even opened yet. But the buzzed-about flick, starring bikini-clad teeny boppers like Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens and a gun-toting James Franco, is about to get even more hype with its very own Opening Ceremony collaboration.
The New York-based retailer is partnering with "Spring Breakers" for a line of "fun-in-the-sun essentials," Women's Wear Daily reports. The line will include sweatpants, beach towels, crop tops and, of course, bikinis (but no fake tattoos and guns-as-accessories, as far as we know).
The designs, which are bound to be bright and slightly Nsfw (think pot leaves, the slogan "Dtf"), were conceived by Heidi Bivens, "Spring Breakers" costume designer, and artist Todd James a.k.a. Reas.
Surprised that Opening Ceremony, a favorite among the downtown hipster crowd, is teaming up with a Selena Gomez-headlined project? Don't be: The movie is much edgier fare than most people realize,...

This week, Toddlers & Tiaras' featured the Fancy Faces pageant, which is "bringing glitz back to Oklahoma," according to event emcee Todd James. Guess the Sooner State's former glitz left with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Taylor Armstrong? Anyhoo, on to more pressing issues: Who wins the crown for Tantrum of the Week? Our pick for Meltdown Grand Supreme is little Alexis. The kid was practically banging her head against the wall rather than practice her cupcake hands and pretty feet—then she really let loose with the wailing when her mom nixed her singing routine. Though, we have to say, if our mom waxed our eyebrows when we were only 5 years old, we'd have a...
