She and her son
Imran Khan showed up to support the launch of
Asha Parekh's memoir' "The Hit Girl" in 2017. Parekh had been in eight of her father
Nasir Hussain's films, and in her memoir, she revealed that Hussain was "the one and only true love of my life". She couldn't marry Hussain (already married to Nuzhat's mother
Ayesha Khan) without wrecking havoc on both their families, and so she has remained unmarried. Hussain's family realized that Parekh made a personal sacrifice and remains grateful to her. They have continued to stay in touch with her, even though Hussain died in 2002.
