The most dramatic season ever? Well, nothing quite tops the actual story behind “The Bachelor.”
ABC’s beloved franchise kicked off 20 years ago today, on March 25, 2002. And while no one quite knew just how massive of a success the reality dating series would be, ABC greenlit a second season before the first one even concluded. Now, two decades and multiple spin-offs later, “The Bachelor” has just wrapped its 26th season.
Yet the first “most eligible bachelor in America,” businessman Alex Michel, was supposed to appear on a very different type of show. Forget the infamous mansion; “The Bachelor” was pitched as an international, jet-setting journey that literally went around the world. Think that’s extravagant? Just wait to hear what some of those luxurious dates would have included.
From mirroring modern dating patterns (sex before or after meeting the parents?) to curating the eclectic yet professional cast of female contestants...

Marki Costello is The Drama Queen
The Drama Queen premiered Sunday night (Nov. 17) on E! and it was….well, just really rambunctious.
Now don’t construe this as good, people; The Drama Queen probably won’t become the next guilty pleasure reality kitsch it hopes to be (à la Keeping Up With the Kardashians). Instead, it tastes like too-sugary cotton candy or a very strong cocktail—difficult to digest and ultimately leaving you nauseated, dizzy and regretting every last bite.
This is partly due to the show throwing every reality show trick at viewers but the kitchen sink. The show is a caffeinated hybrid of Dance Moms, America’s Got Talent and The Devil Wears Prada. But when it comes to blending that critical blend of camp and vulnerability, The Drama Queen rests solely on the former. And the results are loud.

Khloe Kardashian may be saying goodbye to Mario Lopez and the rest of the X Factor come next season. According to the New York Post, the reality star has been fired from the Fox series based on her performance this past year.

"They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe," an insider is saying. Though a spokeperson for the series reveals, that "the producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year."
It wouldn't be all that surprising to many if Kardashian really was let go. The chemistry between she and Lopez just wasn't there and at times she looked lost.
"I am sure there was a big percentage of Khloe’s fans who followed her to 'X Factor.'" La hosting expert Marki Costello tells the Post. "But at the end of the day, when...

Not a good start to the week for Khloe Kardashian. A report from the New York Post says Khloe will not be back for the next season of the singing competition "The X Factor," on Fox. Khloe joined Mario Lopez, who has been asked back, as co-host for the show's second season.
"The X Factor" was Kardashian's first hosting gig, and she often times appeared unprepared. According to hosting expert Marki Costello, "It was really hard for me to watch Mario with her. It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable."
Britney Spears, a judge on the show, announced her departure in January. She's expected to end up with a Las Vegas residency. Another judge, La. Reid, also left the show to focus on his job at Epic Records. Now, Fox and show creator/judge Simon Cowell are quickly trying to rebuild the show. One idea might bring a judge let go after season one,...

Hey girlfriends — are you starting to think like I am that the Bachelor engagement was fake, created only for the cameras, all along?
There are so many things that just don’t add up now that there’s been this completely public breakup. Here’s why — #1, the breakup has been perfectly optimized for the highest level of possible publicity. Vienna spent the last weekend “shopping her breakup story, even before she supposedly told her fiancé that she was splitting, according to one source. She reportedly earned $90,000 for spilling her salacious kiss and tell to Star magazine , reports PopEater’s Rob Shuter.
Then, even though Jake was supposedly “blindsided” by Vienna’s revelations to Star, he still was quick enough on his feet to land his own cover story in People magazine, even though he was still in Atlanta shooting his new guest spot on Drop Dead Diva.

"Clumsy may be just an adjective for some, but it's a lifestyle for me," says Lauren Gilmore. While she may bump into walls or take the occasional spill, she has a knack for making the right move when it matters. Lauren just landed her first network role as Petra the "game agent" on NBC's new game show "Minute To Win It," in which contestants compete in a variety of one-minute games in an attempt to win a million dollars. Born and raised near Chicago, Lauren retains her Midwest roots: She still talks to her dad almost every day. She first moved to L.A. to work in sales for 3M, but soon realized her future didn't lie in sandpaper and adhesives. She is now pursuing her dream of acting and hosting. Lauren has a very dry and offbeat sense of humor—like a Coen brother, only nearly six feet tall with long blond hair.
