Hans Alpassy was born on May 16, 1878 in Graz, Austria-Hungary [now Austria]. He was an actor, known for Triad (1938), Melusine (1944) and Fahrendes Volk (1938). He died on June 6, 1953 in Graz, Austria.
His career took a different turn from 1935, when he was taken under contract for three years at the Münchner Volkstheater (in Munich), from 1935 to 1938. During this period he also played small roles in two films.
Born in Graz, he spent most of his career, playing in that city's theater almost continuously from 1918 to 1935 (with only two seasons in Aussig, Czechoslovakia, from 1924 to 1926).
The theater remained his main activity after the war as well and he only played one more time in front of the camera for "Der keusche Adam" (1950).
