Writer and Actress Felicia Day stopped by San Diego Comic-Con along with some of her cast from her new story “Third Eye.” Day is the creator and star of the web series The Guild (2007–2013), a show loosely based on her life as a gamer. As an actress, Day has played Vi in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2003) and Dr. Holly Marten in Eureka (2011) and had a recurring role as Charlie Bradbury on Supernatural (2012–2015, 2018–2020).
According to Audible, “Third Eye” is about the magical land of San Francisco, there lived a not-so-ordinary girl named Laurel Pettigrew. She was supposed to be the Chosen One. The plan was simple: She would vanquish the great evil Tybus in an epic battle. But destiny had other ideas, and Laurel’s performance in the whole heroics department was a colossal flop.
Now, instead of being a legendary hero, Laurel’s the resident pariah of the magic realm.

It goes without saying that Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) are the heart of "Supernatural." Throughout its 15-season run, the monster-slaying brothers were the face of the CW series: its story begins and ends with them, saving people, hunting things and living up to their family legacy. But its also true that they couldn't have saved the world from multiple apocalypses without a little help from their friends.
As the seasons progressed, what began as a story about two brothers searching for their father became a beautiful example of the power of found family. It's hard to remember a time before Castiel (Misha Collins) was a core part of their team and, while he's only introduced in the last couple of seasons, Jack Kline (Alexander Calvert) later becomes a crucial addition to their family.
Plenty of other familiar faces move in and out as the show goes...

It didn't take the cast of Supernatural long to team back up for a good cause. Stars Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Misha Collins (Castiel) and Felicia Day (Charlie Bradbury) were among the cast and crew members of the beloved series who joined Stacey Abrams to take part in a virtual reunion on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The event raised money and awareness for Fair Fight Action, Abrams' organization that works to eliminate voter suppression. The reunion began with the Our Time Is Now author telling the show's team that she's a huge fan of the series that aired its final episode last month on The CW. "I'm still waiting to watch the last...

Supernatural has been slow to introduce new elements to the series with its introduction of a multiverse. Although opening doors to other realms could've completely flipped Supernatural on its head, the series has stayed relatively normal. Yet in "Bring 'Em Back Alive" there was a huge surprise for Dean (and the audience) in the Apocalypse World as a new version of Charlie Bradbury was introduced. Apocalypse Charlie wasn't the first time Supernatural has introduced a new version of an old character. However, she is the first example of a Apocalypse World character who needs to cross over to the main world.

Supernatural is one of the most subtly progressive shows on TV. A few weeks ago in "Safe House," a haunted house was owned by a lesbian couple with a kid. Corbett, the Ghostfacers intern, Charlie Bradbury and the two LARPing fans at a Supernatural convention from "The Real Ghostbusters" were also notable gay characters. Now comes an episode with an older gay couple who are also Hunters.

She helped take down the Leviathans, hooked up with a fairy, went to Oz and tracked down the Book of the Damned. She became an important ally and friend of the Winchesters, so here?s a look back at her many wonderful witticisms.

Vancouver, BC. To recap, back in October I worked the red carpet at a special 200th episode gala in Vancouver for The CW's "Supernatural." Last night, I posted my red carpet Q&As with series creator Eric Kripke, plus long-time Ep Robert Singer and slight-less-tenured Ep Adam Glass. Now it's time for my interviews with the assortment of beloved "Supernatural" supporting players who attended the 200th episode party, actors who may not have been around for the duration of the show, but have made their marks in different ways. That certainly includes Misha Collins, whose Castiel didn't arrive until the fourth "Supernatural" season, but has played a key role in the move to shift the drama from its monster-of-the-week format to the higher Heaven-and-Hell stakes that have characterized its later years. Showing up a season later was Crossroads demon Crowley, played by Mark Sheppard. Thanks to "Supernatural," "Doctor Who," "Battlestar Galactica" and "The X Files,...

Warning: contains spoilers for Supernatural season nine.
A few weeks ago, Den of Geek reviewed the backdoor pilot for a potential Supernatural spin-off, Bloodlines. We were, shall we say, unimpressed, and it seems that opinion was shared by – well, everybody. In an astounding and almost unprecedented turn of events, the Supernatural fandom was united in its opinion: the spin-off was utterly lacklustre, mostly because it had very little to do with its parent show. In the days since the review was written, we received an onslaught of comments agreeing with this preliminary evaluation of Bloodlines.
It’s since been announced the CW will not be going ahead with the spin-off, quite possibly causing the fandom to breathe a collective sigh of relief. But, despite the seemingly ubiquitous dislike for this backdoor pilot,...

Fancy a Supernatural spin-off? This episode provides a bit of a taster of what that spin-off might be like...
This review contains spoilers.
9.20 Bloodlines
This week, Supernatural is doing something a little new and unusual: its weekly episode is devoted to the backdoor pilot for a potential spinoff show, titled Supernatural: Bloodlines. There’s been a lot of speculation in fandom over the past few years about potential spinoffs, with many fans hoping that one of the numerous amazing secondary characters on Supernatural would get their own show. But, despite hopes and headcanons, I’m not sure anyone actually expected a spinoff to happen. However, with the CW’s Vampire Diaries spinoff The Originals seemingly doing so well (especially as a lead-in to Supernatural on Tuesday nights), it seems like Supernatural gets to follow suit and potentially get another show set in its world.

9.4 Slumber Party
I was a little wary of what Supernatural would offer me this week after the rather unfortunate episode of last week. Thankfully, Slumber Party was a marked improvement over I’m No Angel, and while it may have had a rather lacklustre plot, it’s a stunning episode in a lot of other respects.
Slumber Party sees the return of Charlie Bradbury, a fan favorite since her introduction on the show (and who doesn’t like Felicia Day?). She always brightens up the show with her geekiness and the quirkiness of her episodes, and Robbie Thompson, who has so far written all of her appearances, really gets her – and us viewers. Supernatural, Season 9, Episode 4: “Slumber Party”
Written by Robbie Thompson
Directed by Robert Singer
Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on The CW
The unexpected appearance of Henry Winchester last season came with two things; the introduction of Abaddon, and the first mention of the Men of Letters, a secret society for those studying supernatural entities. The latter laid the groundwork for a potentially fascinating mythology, one that has yet to be fully revealed, despite the discovery of the society’s central command. This week’s episode focuses on the history of the Men of Letters once again, in a superb outing that manages to display an old classic from a unique perspective, while bringing back a beloved character.
Watching Charlie dive further into the world of hunting is a great step, both for the show as a whole, and for the character in particular.

"Supernatural" headed to Oz on Tuesday (Oct. 29), and oh, what a trip it was.
Fan-favorite Charlie Bradbury (Felicia Day) returned, died, was resurrected, killed the Wicked Witch, and ditched real life to join the rebellion in Oz. Say what? Rebellion in Oz? Yeah, this isn't the "Wizard of Oz" you think you know.

Dorothy's whole adventure in Oz was actually a war story that he adapted into a children's book). Do the words puppy love and Dean Winchester sound odd together in the same sentence? They sure do, but get used to seeing them: "Supernatural" Season 9 will introduce a character from Dean's (Jensen Ackles) past that shares a sappy connection with the hardened hunter.
In an upcoming episode, viewers will get to meet Robin, an attractive waitress at a diner she inherited from her father, E! Online reports. And how does Robin know Dean? Two decades ago, she shared a "sweet puppy love-style romance" with him.
Though that doesn't sound like the Dean we know now, that certainly could have been the case 20 years ago. But since she's popping back up in Dean's life in the present, that doesn't bode too well for her -- something bad is probably coming her way with which she needs Dean's help.
In other "Supernatural" Season 9 news, get ready for the return of geek goddess Felicia Day.

With the announcement of The CW committing to a backdoor pilot for a spinoff of the Winchester-saga known as "Supernatural," fans are already calling for the show to star Felicia Day's Charlie Bradbury. A spinoff series has been in development for quite some time but the show is rumored to be entering its last days with season 10 thought to be its last hurrah. The backdoor pilot will be written by "Supernatural" supervising producer Andrew Dabb. The only details revealed thus far is that the show will be firmly set in the city of Chicago as opposed to the cross country exploits of the Winchester brothers. Would you "Supernatural" fans want the series to star geek-favorite Day or introduce someone knew to the hunter-monster undercover war?...

This recently just in; Jim Beaver will return in some capacity on Supernatural Season 9.
This even more just in: So will Felicia Day!
The actress, who has appeared on three episodes of The CW hit as Charlie Bradbury, surprised Comic-Con attendees today when she appeared halfway through the show's panel and told fans:
"I am thrilled to be back. I think it's always amazing when you have a gift of a character that you just want to play all the time, and I'm so blessed to be working with these very amazing men with excellent hair."
Supernatural Season 9 Sneak Peek
The focus then turned to what can be expected on Season 9, following a Supernatural Season 8 finale that featured a number of angels falling from the sky.

The final day of San Diego Comic-Con 2013 kicked off with demons and demon hunters as the "Supernatural" panel cast a spell over Hall H in the morning. Series stars Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester), Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester), Mark Sheppard (Crowley), and Misha Collins (Castiel) took the stage alongside Executive Producer and showrunner Jeremy Carver and Executive Producer Bob Singer. Felicia Day (Charlie Bradbury) made a delightful surprise appearance as well.
Before the cast appeared, though, a video of highlights from Season 8 and a sneak peak at Season 9 played on the large Hall H screen. Honky-tonk rock and roll played as the brothers Winchester sliced, smashed and shot their way through dozens of supernatural beings. It's safe to say there were more beheadings during this highlights reel than the rest of Comic-Con combined.

Felicia Day made a surprise appearance on the CW’s Supernatural panel Sunday at Comic-Con, where Ep Robert Singer announced that fan-favorite Day would be reprising her role as Charlie Bradbury on the show. It was also revealed that cast member Misha Collins, who was bumped from recurring guest star to series regular after striking a chord with fans, will take the director’s chair for an episode in the upcoming ninth season. The family vibe was warm onstage, where Singer and co-showrunner Jeremy Carver were joined by Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Collins, and Mark Sheppard. An intro video sped through Sam and Dean Winchester’s greatest hits from the past eight years before Comic-Con fans got a sneak peek at a scene from Season 9. In it, the Winchester brothers regroup after the falling of the angels that left last season on a cliffhanger, and attempt to interrogate Crowley (Sheppard...

One of the highlights of Supernatural’s seventh season was the introduction of tech genius Charlie Bradbury who inadvertently discovers the existence of Leviathan and helps the Winchesters at a crucial juncture in their fight. After choosing to run the first time, a chance encounter the second time around with the brothers led Charlie to decide to make a stand, and in the process become another ally for Sam and Dean in their fight against otherworldly forces. We're pretty impressed that it's taken "Supernatural" eight seasons to get to the "If you die in the game, you die in real life" episode. In tonight's show, fan favorite Felicia Day returns as Charlie Bradbury. As usual, the episode plays to her strengths -- it's a geek's delight, complete with fun costumes, harrowing stunts, and a gamer premise ripped straight from a cheesy horror movie. (We say that affectionately, obviously.)
But executive producer Jeremy Carver warns that this might not be the silliest episode we've ever seen. In other words, don't expect to see Dean Winchester LARPing and laughing at the end of it.
"Let me say, I haven't seen all the promos, but while it might be being billed as a fun episode, it's actually a pretty heavy, surprising look into Charlie," Carver tells us. "What seems like it's going to be all fun and laughs turns into a very moving,...

There are zero things we like talking about more than Jared Padalecki's hair, so when we found out that Sam Winchester got a haircut at some point before next week's episode of "Supernatural," we obviously had to stop everything we were doing and investigate.
We can now confirm that Padalecki has had an encounter with some scissors. Whether it's an upgrade or downgrade is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, we have this theory about fine wine that we're working on.
Oh, right. There's some other stuff going on in this clip from "Pac-Man Fever" too. Felicia Day returns as everyone's favorite geek, Charlie Bradbury, but now that she's had a few run-ins with the Winchesters, she's basically an old pro. When she brings the boys a new case, she's already done a lion's share of the research... and that involved getting into some uncomfortable territory for the Winchester boys.

Felicia Day returns to Supernatural Wednesday for one of the show's more geek-tastic episodes, "Larp and the Real Girl." Proving Supernatural saves its best movie puns for the actress, Day first made the Whedonverse collide with the Winchesters last season in "The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo," playing Charlie Bradbury, the I.T. genius who helps Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) get dirt on leviathan leader Dick Roman.

Felicia Day is on her way back to Supernatural.
The beloved actress (Eureka, Husbands, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog) broke the news herself today via Twitter, writing: “What better place to be on Halloween than on the set of #Supernatural?”
Day originated the role of Charlie Bradbury on "The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo" and it's unclear what brings the character back into the fold this time around.
But we can confirm she'll show up on Episode 11 of Supernatural Season 8, titled "Larp and the Real Girl." That's pretty awesome.
