Hong Kong is the 74th unhappiest nation on Earth. A startling fact that shocks Josie Ho (Popular Hk singer/actress), so much so that she decides to spearhead an effort to teach Hongkongers how to be happy again. She would gather a group of music students, fellow instrumentalists, and singers of the local rock scene and they would travel to Iceland-a country known to be one of the top five happiest in the world, to learn a thing or two. “Finding Bliss” details their efforts and compiles all that they learn in bite-sized sections, aiming to rekindle the spark of happiness in everyone.

The one and only Wong Jing returns with “Men Suddenly in Love”, a wacky comedy in his own inimitable lowbrow style. Featuring him as writer, director, producer and even star, the film surely confirms him as an uncouth auteur, with even his most vehement detractors surely now having to admit that his brand of vulgarity may be exactly what the increasingly sanitised Hong Kong comedy genre needs at this point in time. The film boasts a fine cast, with the portly one being joined by Eric Tsang, Chapman To, Jim Chim, and singer Det Dik as his lewd pals, with a bevy of eye catching and scantily clad females including Chrissie Chau, Carol Yeung, Jessica Xu, Caroline Zhu, and Betrys Kong adding a considerable shot of glamour. The plot is a real throwback to the carefree days of Hong Kong screwball sleaze, with a group of five old school friends...

To these ends, the film brings together an impressive cast headlined by Charlene Choi, with support from genre veterans such as Sandra Ng, Sammy Leung, Jim Chim, Cheung Tat Ming, Kingdom Yuen, Lam Suet, and Hui Siu Hung. Somewhat of a throwback to the likes of “Love Undercover” and other favourites, the film was a box office hit, showing again that Wong Jing is one of Hong Kong’s most enduringly popular directors of popcorn fare. Choi stars as rookie policewoman Chung Oi Fong who makes...
