UTA has hired comedy promoter Georgie Donnelly as an agent in its Comedy Touring division. She will be based in London along with last year’ comedy agent hire Bjorn Wentlandt and book and rep comedy acts internationally.
Donnelly, a leading producer at Edinburgh Fringe, most recently was Head of Comedy at Kilimanjaro Live where she toured UK acts including Tape Face, Jessica Fostekew and Tony Law.
Before that, she lived in Australia and worked at Laughing Stock Productions, producing acts including Felicity Ward, Demi Lardner, Chopper and Sammy J & Randy. She began her career in the UK as an agent at Rbm Comedy.

The Alternative Comedy Experience is returning to Comedy Central in July.
Created by comedian Stewart Lee, the stand-up show goes both in front of and behind the curtain and features performances from some of the best cult comedy acts.
Lee said of the show: "I am delighted that Comedy Central have had the vision to bring back the connoisseurs' stand-up comedy show of choice."
The series will be 13 episodes long with performances from Bridget Christie, Tony Law, Isy Suttie, David Kay, Simon Munnery, Maeve Higgins, Josie Long, David O Doherty, Paul Foot and Henning Wehn.
There will also be a host of new names appearing on the show, some of which are making their first ever appearance on a TV stand-up series.
Filmed at Edinburgh's iconic The Stand Comedy Club in front of a live audience, the programme sees short clips of each act stripped across the series.

BBC One maintained its Friday night ratings grip outside of soaps last night (November 1), with Have I Got News For You and The Graham Norton Show securing more than a fifth of the audience.
This week's instalment of topical panel show Have I Got News For You featured Kirsty Young as guest host, alongside panelists Ian Hislop, Paul Merton, Max Keiser and Tony Law. The 9pm show brought in 4.49 million viewers, with an audience share of 20.6%.
Citizen Khan attracted 2.86m (13.9%) viewers at 9.30pm, but ultimately lost out to ITV 1's Piers Morgan's Life Stories. The Graham Norton Show returned BBC One to the top of the ratings pile with 3.59m viewers - a 26.4% share.

The full list of nominees has been unveiled for the 2012 Foster's Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Josie Long has been nominated for the third year in a row and is up against Claudia O'Doherty, Doctor Brown, James Acaster, Pappy's and Tony Law. Awards producer Nica Burns said: "The nominees sum up an extraordinarily inventive year for comedy at this year's Fringe.
