Luis Galilei is a Latinx actor, writer, stand-up comedian & filmmaker. He has acted in an array of different shorts and features with his most notable performance in Hand Me Downs (2024), which he also co-wrote and produced. He started his acting journey studying the Stanislavski method in NYC which brought him to the theatre and on-screen roles. His combination of lived experiences and acting range allows him to give roles unique life.
His stand up comedian career also started in NYC in 2016 where he worked his way up to performing on some of the most well-known NYC comedy stages. Now, he is located in LA where you can find him on comedy stages throughout the week at a club near you.
As a filmmaker his first short film, Hand Me Downs (2024), made a splash at festival with participation in New York Shorts International Film Festival, DTLA Film Festival, Chelsea Film Festival, Big Apple Film Festival, Chain NYC Film Festival, Katra Film Series and more.
