The 250th episode of The Gadget Show will see presenters Jason Bradbury and Rachel Riley beam Pac-Man into the Millennium Mills in London's East End from across the Thames.

The question of quotas for diversified talent in the UK film industry was a hot topic at Screen International and Broadcast’s Diversify conference today; experts’ views were decidedly mixed.
Femi Oguns, founder of Identity Drama and Identity Agency Group, said emphatically, “We should force a quota.” Director Penny Woolcock agreed: “I actually think it’s worth a try…it could open the door to new kinds of stories. It’s the only way of changing it to force people.”
But writer/director Amma Asante said: “I’m nervous about quotas. I’ve heard too many times even today, ‘Oh she’s there because she’s black or she’s a woman’… it’s not the reality I’m worried about, it’s the perception.”
Jason Bradbury of Lgbt-friendly distribution company Peccadillo Pictures was also fearful of quotes: “I’m not sure quotas would work, it’s a dangerous route to go down.”

Just when you thought ITV had run away with the prize of TV Turkey of 2013 with the inexplicable Your Face Sounds Familiar, the BBC have fought back with their own Saturday night dud. The celebrity panel show for Ukip fanatics - I Love My Country.
Its opening episode tonight was 50 minutes of TV vomit that left an almighty stench. I Love My Country? I Love My Sick Bucket would be more appropriate.
At least you get the sense with Your Face Sounds Familiar that everyone involved knows it's trash and is wallowing in its sheer awfulness. Bobby Davro just looks chuffed to be back on primetime TV, even if does mean dressing up as Tammy Wynette.
However, I Love My Country is such a dizzying mess, a patchwork of dreadful TV pitches combined into one ball of mucky mush that everyone involved looks utterly bewildered.

For years, the videogame community has been pushed aside, making way for the far "greater" social interests such as film and/or television. While we were forced to endure acceptance speech after acceptance speech - from individuals so consumed in their own worlds they had forgotten all about reality - we dreamt of bigger and better things...how things have changed.
The Videogame industry is now one of the most powerful - and profitable - in the world, with more and more companies eager to get in on the action. Conversely, this raise in popularity has seen many of these 'elitist' individuals come crawling back, like an infected arm to its unaffected owner. Earlier this week, Sony announced three PlayStation Move titles as part of its Sony E3 2010 lineup. Naturally, this news led to one obvious question: If we are going to see Move games up close and personal next month, when are we going to see the Move itself? Well, Jason Bradbury, one of the primary presenters on the popular UK television program Gadget Show, believes that the Move is in line for a September release date.
Bradbury tweeted: ”.. another thing I was meaning to say. Sept for Playstation Move!!! I’m sure of it. Can’t say why. Just.. September 2010.”
Since Bradbury did not reveal his sources, it’s impossible to say if he received definitive confirmation on the Move’s launch date. One thing is clear, though: Sony was quick in its attempt to quash the truth of Bradbury’s statement, telling VG247 that the Move’s release date would...
