Adelaide Waldrop is an Intimacy Coordinator, Director, and Theatremaker based in London, UK.
As an Intimacy Coordinator, she has worked on productions for Warner Brothers, Paramount, HBO, Netflix, Disney+, BBC, Apple TV, Sky, ITV, Starz, Channel 4, Working Title, and various independent projects. She also works as an Intimacy Director for theatre.
Adelaide is a certified Intimacy Director with Intimacy for Stage and Screen (ISS), where she trained with Lizzy Talbot and Yarit Dor. Prior to that she was part of Ita O'Brien's company, Intimacy On Set (IOS) until 2019. She has also been involved in the Intimacy Coordinators Mentoring Scheme for Underrepresented Groups led by Yarit Dor, funded by the Film & TV Charity Fund, ScreenSkills, and Moving Body Arts.
Adelaide graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) in 2017 with an MA in Directing and has been developing a new curriculum for Intimacy in Performance at LAMDA since 2019.
Originally from Washington, D.C., she has been living in London since 2016.
