Here's the second part of a collection of poster art created by several artists for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim for Blurppy. This is the same site that organized a collection of movie poster art for Star Trek Into Darkness and World War Z. To see the first part of their Pacific Rim collection click here. I've also included a few other illustrations that were separately created for Odd City Entertainment.
The posters included here come from artists such as Fernando Reza, Paul Shipper, Tim Anderson, Samuel Ho, Rodolfo Reyes, Peter Gutierrez, Patrick Connan, Erin Gallagher, Doaly, Matt Ferguson, and Marie Bergeron.
The film hits theaters on July 12th.
The posters below come from Odd City Entertainment, and were created by artists New Flesh and James Fosdike.

Star Wars was always at its core a western. The only difference was that it took place in a galaxy far, far away. Here's an awesome series of poster art created by Tim Anderson that gives the Star Wars trilogy a very cool, gritty spaghetti western makeover and was obviously inspired by already existing classic posters. Here's a note from the artist:
I decided to take a brief break from the pulp series to combine another two series/genres that are near and dear to my heart: Star Wars and spaghetti westerns. These are posters re-imagining the classic Star Wars trilogy as old Italian-produced westerns of the late '60s.
Hope you enjopy the set! ...

Everyone now and then, people can still find novelizations of upcoming films on the shelves just before they hit theaters, but it's not something that happens as frequently as it used to. However, artist Tim Anderson, a concept designer for Electronic Arts in Salt Lake City, Utah, decided that he would like to see a few of his favorite sci-fi films turned into pulp fiction novels. And so, Anderson has crafted some illustrated posters in the same vein as the classic novels, and it feels like you would see these stories promoted in the window of a bookstore back in the 1950's. There's only a few, but they are truly great pieces. Sci-fi pulp fiction covers for Blade Runner, Alien and The Matrix from Poster Collective via SlashFilm: The best parts are the subtle details, mainly in the publishing logos that reference the films themselves. The Years of the Locust, by Jon Hotten, tells a true story of murder, corruption and intrigue set amidst the world of boxing. It involves a salesman-turned-promoter named Rick Parker and his innocent/naive fighter Tim Anderson.
Hotten noted in a blog post last year that Considine was looking at adapting it, but it now seems to be a bit more official. Considine, who has always had a sterling reputation as an actor (Dead Man Walking, Hot Fuzz, Submarine, The Bourne Ultimatum), has garnered nothing but rave reviews for his directorial debut, Tyrannosaur and had been presumed to be looking at another project to write and direct.
Backstage at the BAFTAs, where Considine picked up an award for Outstanding Debut by a Writer or Director, he confirmed he is now working on adapting The Years of the Locust, although on his website he also confirms that he is working on...

It is a story of intrigue, paranoia and murder, as Rick tries to set himself up as the next Don King. After proving himself to be a bold new directing talent with last year’s storming Tyrannosaur (which scooped the Outstanding Debut award at the BAFTAs this past weekend and is out now on DVD), Paddy Considine is now looking towards his next stint behind the camera. And he’s confirmed that he’s hard at work adapting Jon Hotten’s book The Years Of The Locust. Hotten dropped word of Considine’s interest in his blog last year and now, talking to Deadline on the BAFTA red carpet, Considine said that he is indeed cranking out the script.Locust is a true story of murder, money, intrigue and paranoia set in the world of professional bodybuilding. Sizzling in the heat of the 1990’s Deep South, the plot finds two characters – sociopathic door-to-door salesman Rick “Elvis” Parker and his loyal, incorruptible fighter Tim Anderson as they get caught up in a trail of fixed fights,...

Paddy Considine took the festival circuit by storm last year when his dark, adult-drama "Tyrannosaur" earned worldwide acclaim. The actor/director/writer penned and helmed the story, which followed a down-and-out alcoholic who meets an unhappily married and deeply religious social worker and the picture featured powerhouse performances from Peter Mullan and Olivia Colman. Speaking with Deadline backstage at the BAFTA's, Considine has revealed he's set to quickly his debut behind the camera now with an adaptation of Josh Hotten's body-building drama "The Years Of The Locust." Set in America's South in the '90s, the story is led by a sociopathic door-to-door sales king turned boxing promoter Rick “Elvis” Parker and the other his loyal, naive incorruptible fighter Tim Anderson and is described as a true story of intrigue, paranoia, murder and money. Living in a smaller market that doesn’t typically get access to slightly esoteric pleasures — such as foreign films in a theatrical environment — one of 2011′s biggest cinematic misses for yours truly was Paddy Considine‘s feature directing debut, Tyrannosaur. I, unfortunately, still have to wait a couple of months for that one to be on my Netflix queue, but that doesn’t mean I can’t already look forward to his recently confirmed follow-up, The Years of the Locust.

Last October, Tim Anderson and I trekked over to Sanford, Fl to visit the set of Anthony Diblasi's Cassadaga.. The film - which centers on a deaf girl who attempts to contact her late sister's spirit during a seance but instead attracts the avenging ghost of a murdered woman - looks to have some fairly intense moments judging by what we saw during our trip. The two days we were on set for, which also happened to be the final two days of principal photography, were filled with things we can't really get too specific about - like what exactly is going on in Gepetto's lair - but Tim did a really respectable job of giving you guys an idea of what you're in for without completely ruining any third act plot points.

Paddy Considine is currently premiering his film Tyrannosaur at the Sundance Film Festival. While doing press for the film with Total Film he revealed two new projects. He stated that he is working on a “ghost story centred on the idea of legacies”, “the story of young woman haunted by a childhood trauma who in adult life struggles to form meaningful relationships.”

Every time she gets close to somebody she feels this presence.
According to Total Film, Considine was hinting at the possibility of Olivia Colman (Tyrannosaur) having a role in the film. He also revealed that this film was influenced by another famous horror film:
