On Monday’s episode of “The Late Show,” Stephen Colbert kicked things off with a tribute to the Houston tiger, who was finally rescued after days of no one knowing where it was. And to really make the tribute work, he recruited former Survivor lead singer Dave Bickler to sing a parody of his classic song “Eye of the Tiger.”
A bit of catch up: Over the weekend, a 9-month-old Bengal tiger who had been missing for several days was finally located and turned over to authorities in Houston. Yay! To celebrate, Colbert began “The Late Show” with a cold open recapping the news, and then the music of “Eye of the Tiger” began. Next, Bickler appeared onscreen to sing new lyrics about how relieved everyone is not to be eaten alive by a tiger.
It’s funny stuff, and you can watch it below:

But it wasn’t until after Eddie Van Halen died that the world learned that the trek was actually in the planning stages just about two years ago.
“At a certain point it turned into what we joked as the Kitchen Sink Tour,” Wolfgang Van Halen recently told Howard Stern. “Cause after [my dad] was Ok with that arrangement, it was like,...

Survivor founder Frank Sullivan is pissed one of his ex-bandmates is using the band's name and logo to promote his solo career ... even though he left the group Thirty. Four. Years. Ago. Sullivan -- who started the band in '77 and exploded to fame with "Eye of the Tiger" -- is suing Dave Bickler, claiming the Og member agreed to leave the band in '84 and signed a contract giving up his right to use the band logo.
