Roberto Letizia
- Composer
- Actor
- Writer
Started out as a musician (bass player and singer) and has been playing
and performed with several bands in Rome during the 1980s-'90s (The
Beermen, The Others, The Blue Butterfly, Cino & i Cinici, to name a
few), successfully leaving live performing for songwriting and
production. Steadily turned into a writer (something he always did when
recording his original compositions) starting from his collection of
love and childhood poetry called "to ignore a whole world around". At
the moment he is actively co-operating with Iradidio and Iradidio Films
writing screenplays, scripts and stories for TV and cinema. Roberto is
currently working on writing Tv cartoon series produced by Iradidio
such as The City, Bud, Bill, Spud, Mia, Per (etc.) and also creating
new ones his own, like Seppo the Parrot.
Recently he's back on music, playing again bass guitar in a band (Orange Cash), making records, doing live gigs, producing the soundtrack for the "Ipocriti" TV project, and writing songs for a Rome satirical pop group called "Cino & the Cynics". He also arranges music for the Iradidiorecords Co., where he works full time as A&R. Orange Cash has also recorded soundtracks for several independent feature films such as Better Days (2001) and West River Drive (2002).
