Gossip Girl 100th Episode: What to Expect and the Cast Celebrates The Event
Tonight is the 100th episode of Gossip Girl and it is Blair's big royal wedding that will mark this event. Or is it? It wouldn't be a wedding on TV without any drama and this is Gossip Girl, so expect plenty of that from many different sources as there are love triangles (or quadrangles or maybe even quintangles) all over the place. Love interests are not the only ones that threaten the nuptials as a dastardly priest and a vengeful rival also threaten Blair (Leighton Meester) and Louis' (Hugo Becker) big day. Throw in a doubtful bride and we've got the makings of a fantastic evening.
If you have seen any of promo photos, videos or sneak peeks then you know by now that Georgina Sparks (Michelle Trachtenberg) is back in town to wreak some havoc, as...

Gossip Girl's executive producer Josh Safran has teased that Chuck will struggle not to return to his old self in the face of Blair's impending wedding to Louis. In the last episode of the show, Chuck (Ed Westwick) appeared to team up with Father Cavalia (Marc Menard) in an attempt to ruin the nuptials between Blair (Leighton Meester) and Louis (Hugo Becker). "It's not necessarily a different Chuck," Safran told E! Online. "But the progress that Chuck has made, it suddenly becomes an uphill battle to maintain that progress and not slide back. The question becomes, 'Will he maintain that progress, or will he slide back?'" Safran also acknowledged that fans are upset about the obstacles facing Chuck and Blair but explained that the pair are not ready to be together yet. "Of course we have (more)...

Poor Blair. She probably thought that life as the future Princess of Monaco would mean extreme wealth, world travel and relaxation. Little did she realize that those royals are pretty darn good at scheming too, and she's going to need every trick she's ever learned just to keep up. But first, let's revisit Nate's investigation of the car wreck.
[Spoiler Alert]
Nate (Chace Crawford) was troubled to find out (and rightly so) that the actual target of the accident that nearly killed Blair (Leighton Meester) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) was him. He just had the good fortune to hop in the wrong limo. So Nate, working with Serena (Blake Lively) and the force of evil herself, Gossip Girl, look to root out the rat. It's actually quite an ingenious plan that involves a lot of moving parts. But in the end, the perpetrator is probably who we should have suspected all along.

Smells likes something is cooking between Gossip Girl star Blake Lively and Brian J. Smith. TV Line is reporting that the former Stargate Universe actor will be joining the Gossip Girl cast for Season 5 as a chef named Max. He will make his first appearance during the premiere, which will be Sept. 26, but you already knew that. All of his scenes will take place in Los Angeles, which just so happens to be where Lively’s character, Serena, was spending the summer. If there isn’t some kind of goings on between them then there’s no hope for the world.
Smith is best known for playing Lt. Matthew Scott on Stargate Universe. His character was a skilled and well-trained first lieutenant. It was his breakout performance. I think he’ll find Gossip Girl to be a little bit different compared to the more dark and edgy nature of Stargate Universe.

You just have to love the world that exists on the CW, where even the priests are sexy, according to the latest from TVLine.
Marc Menard, who you might remember having a pretty bad day as French scientist Montand on Lost when he encountered the Smoke Monster, has signed on with Gossip Girl as Father Cavalia, a priest from Monaco with ties to Blair’s fiancé, Prince Louis.
There’s no official word yet, but the rumors are already flying that the good priest is making the trip to the Upper East Side to preside over Prince Louis and Blair’s wedding, and possibly locking horns with Louis’ sister (Roxane Mesquida), who isn’t thrilled about the planned nuptials.
As if a priest and a meddling sister weren’t enough. Season 5 of Gossip Girl is also bringing in Elizabeth Hurley as a real Payne for our cast of characters. With...

Marc Menard has been cast in a much-anticipated, potentially recurring role on Gossip Girl - Father Cavalia, a priest from Monaco with ties to Blair’s fiancé, Louis.
There’s been speculation that in the upcoming fifth season, the priest heads to the Upper East Side to preside over Blair and the prince's wedding ceremony.
There's also speculation about the priest and a bridesmaid ...
Menard played Rousseau’s fellow French scientist on Lost.
The priest may also encounter some resistance from Louis’ meddling sister, played by French actress Roxane Mesquida, who is not a fan of the wedding.
Menard’s casting comes two days after news that Elizabeth Hurley will appear on Gossip Girl in the coming season, which begins Monday, September 26.

Leighton Meester has kicked off the production of "Gossip Girl" season 5. Rocking a yellow top and a lemon-printed skirt with matching orange pumps and bag, the 25-year-old brunette beauty finished off her look with some bracelets when portraying Blair Waldorf on Thursday, July 7.
"The Roommate" actress was not alone during the first day of filming. She was joined by new cast member Roxane Mesquida, who is cast as Prince Louis' sister who is hell-bent on sabotaging her brother and Blair's impending nuptials. Together, the two were seen walking on the street in Manhattan, New York City while having a chat.
As of late, it was reported that another new character is coming to Upper East Side due to Blair's wedding. "Lost" alum Marc Menard is cast for potentially recurring role of Father Cavalia, a priest from Monaco with ties to Blair's fiance, Prince Louis. Rumor has it, the pontiff will...

Gossip Girl is getting a little, ahem, hot under the collar in Season 5.
Marc Menard — whose stint on Lost as Rousseau’s fellow French scientist Montand ended with him losing a limb to El Monster de Smoke — is joining the CW soap in the potentially recurring role of Father Cavalia, a priest from Monaco with ties to Blair’s fiancé, Prince Louis.
There’s been speculation that the comely pontiff heads to the Upper East Side to preside over the couple’s wedding ceremony. If true, he may encounter some resistance from Louis’ meddling sister, played by French actress Roxane Mesquida.

Directly before Yeti’s premiere on the Sci Fi Channel (ahead of its DVD release from Genius Products January 13), the network had a back-to-back airing of Ryan Schifrin’s Abominable and Tibor Takacs’ Ice Spiders. First, I got my Bigfoot fix, followed by my monsters at a ski resort. By the time they wrapped up, I was primed to enter Yeti territory. Personally, I couldn’t think of a better introduction to this gleefully over-the-top little flick than prefacing it with those two equally hammy gems.
In Yeti, we’ve got an American college football team headed to Japan aboard their private jet, which just happens to give out over the Himalayas (apparently they got a discount by flying all the way around the entire world, rather than just over the Pacific). Huddled together in the blistering cold, the surviving kids find themselves stalked by the legendary Yeti, an enormous...
