On Wednesday night I was invited to Soho House to see LG’s new range of fancy tellies. In their own words, the TVs include:
“A stunning Cinema Screen design for LG Cinema 3D TV and immersive 3D sound systems. The brand is also demonstrating its ongoing commitment to Smart TV with further developments to the award winning platform, a new Magic Remote with wheel and voice recognition, along with improvements to the Smart Share 2.0 offer.”
There were numerous folk from LG on hand to tell us about their new machines as well as representatives from All3Media, Netflix and YouTube kicking around to explain how these new TVs integrated with their media provision. There were also lots of drinks being distributed and some delicious canapés. Lots of canapés (as I said at the time, you could tell it was a classy event because they served tartar sauce with their tiny fish and chips,...
