Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features seven matches this week. In a change-up this week, we’ve got Tony Schiavone and Matt Menard on commentary. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Action Andretti def. Nick Comoroto
My Thoughts: If it wasn’t for the fact Action Andretti is on a hot streak you would have expected Nick Comoroto to pick up the easy win, especially considering the size difference. But no, instead Andretti held his own against the big man and there were a number of near falls which amped up the excitement. Eventually Andretti hit a Victory Roll for the 3 count.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Skye Blue def. Angelica Risk
My Thoughts: Skye Blue gave up way too much to Risk – especially considering BLue is no veteran like Emi Sakura, who can out on these kinds of matches where...

It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which emanates from Aew Universal once again and features only 8 matches this week… which hopefully means we’re not going to be subjected to the ridiculous squash-tastic action that we got last week! We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: The Factory def. Invictus Khash, Adam Priest, & Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Qt and co. played the big heel card in this match, with Qt himself really p*ssing off the audience in attendance. It wasn’t all about the Factory though, as Invictus Khash – who’s been tagging recently with Ariya Daivari in a couple of Dark/Elevation matches – got in some good offence and showed off the same skills that have impressed in his previous appearances for Aew. A solid start to this week’s Dark Imho.

It’s Wednesday morning so you know what that means… It’s time for our review of this weeks Aew: Dark, which this week comes from Aew Universal in Orlando, Florida. Like the show itself, let’s get right into the action!
Match #1: Julia Hart def. Kelsey Heather
My Thoughts: Julia Hart continues her aggressive streak Again in this match, beating the hell out of her Kelsey Heather – an opponent who tried to trash talk too much and paid for it. Long may this streak continue as it’s certainly improved the presentation of Hart over the past few weeks. Hart ended the match with the same great-looking submission finish too!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Powerhouse Hobbs def. Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Hobbs laid out Vega before the bell even rang and then pummeled him around the ring in a squash match… Literally! Hobbs squashed Vega against the ropes,...

Welcome to Nerdly’s review of a very special 101st episode of Aew: Dark, a bonuis this week in a Friday night slot – no doubt added to the weeks roster of shows to get Aew fans used to watching their programming on Friday nights, just on time for next weeks debut of Aew: Rampage.
Match #1: Jurassic Express def. Ryzin and D3
My Thoughts: Jurassic Express ran over Ryzin and D3 like bugs. Luchasaurus got some decent action here, unlike most weeks, in your usual Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #2: Kris Statlander def. Leila Grey
My Thoughts: Another quick match that felt somewhat deflated. There was nothing here that stood out from either women. Hell, they even looked so similar everything blurred into one!
My Score: 1.5 out of 5 Match #3: Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix def. Jake St. Patrick and Sage Scott
My Thoughts:...

Welcome to Nerdly, I’m Phil and this is a review of this week’s Aew Dark: Elevation, the eighteenth episode of Aew’s “developmental” brand which – this week – has been stacked with matches featuring some of Aew’s biggest names. So much for developmental!
Match #1: Thunder Rosa def. Dreamgirl Ellie
My Thoughts: Thunder Rosa gave Dreamgirl Ellie a lot of leeway in this match, reverting back to her standard “let your opponent put in the work and showcase themselves before squashing them” routine after the past few weeks doing traditional squash matches.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Matt Hardy def. Fuego Del Sol
My Thoughts: I can’t believe I have to give a Matt Hardy match a decent score. But I do. Why? Because Guego Del Sol matches get top-ranking scores all the time here on Nerdly. Am I biased? Yes. But I absolutely love Fuego…...
