Cruella and Richard Jewell star Paul Walter Hauser is one of the most exciting additions to The Fantastic Four, but as we write this, there's still no word on who he's playing.
Mole Man is the most popular suggestion among comic book fans, though it's just as easy to imagine him voicing H.E.R.B.I.E., for example. Marvel's First Family has many allies and enemies on the page so Hauser could ultimately be portraying any number of characters in the upcoming reboot.
Talking to Screen Rant, Hauser broke his silence on joining The Fantastic Four and confirmed he's playing someone from the comics.
"[All] I can say is that I, in some iteration, am in the movie The Fantastic Four until I get fired or recast. So I can't say anything about the character I'm playing, but know that it is in the sort of lexicon and mythology of The Fantastic Four stories,...

It’s official. Galactus is coming to the MCU.
After months of speculation, Marvel officially announced that they’ve found their Galactus. Ralph Ineson, a Game of Thrones veteran known for standout supporting roles in The Witch and The Green Knight, will portray the Devourer of Worlds. Ineson’s casting comes on the heels of other compelling announcements for its upcoming film The Fantastic Four, including Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich. Marvel hasn’t yet disclosed which characters those two are playing, but the smart money has Hauser down for the Mole Man. Malkovich could fit a number of characters, including minor baddies Puppet Master or Diablo, including just a grouchy official. Heck, maybe he’ll finally get to play a version of the Vulture, as he was slated to do in Sam Raimi’s abandoned Spider-Man 4!
While any of those baddies would be fun, the Galactus casting deserves the most attention.

Paul Walter Hauser has added another project to a packed upcoming slate.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner, who in the last few weeks alone has been tapped to play Chris Farley in Josh Gad’s biopic and has joined the cast of both “Fantastic Four” and the “Naked Gun” reboot, is to lead “Press Your Luck,” a drama-thriller based on the true story of Michael Larson. Protagonist Pictures has unveiled the drama-thriller — from Plenty Good in co-production with Fabula — alongside a first look image and will handle international sales, while CAA Media Finance represents North American rights.
Set in 1984, “Press Your Luck” follows Larson, an unemployed truck driver from Ohio who stepped onto the game show “Press Your Luck” harbouring a secret: the key to endless amounts of money. After years of rumors and speculation, Liam Neeson’s Naked Gun reboot looks like it is finally heading into production. Set to be directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, and written by Dan Gregor and Doug Man, fans expect a lot from this reboot. While many have tried (and failed) to update the franchise, and it’s hard to imagine anyone stepping into Leslie Nielsen’s iconic shoes at Lt. Frank Drebin, it’s pretty interesting that the team pairing on this is the same one that teamed on Disney’s much better than expected reboot of Chip n’ Dale’s Rescue Rangers. All involved are really funny, so if anyone could make this work, it’s them. With a release date tentatively set for July 18th, 2025, here’s everything we know about the Naked Gun reboot.

Over the past few years, no show has been able to attract as many loyal viewers as Yellowstone. Fans of the Western genre have been happy to see the show go mainstream and continue to succeed with each new spin-off that Taylor Sheridan has created. At this point, Yellowstone is more than just a show, it is a brand.
To say that people were devastated to see the show go off the air due to a scheduling conflict with its star, Kevin Costner, would be an understatement. However, the prospect of getting another spin-off to continue the story has since calmed the majority of fans.
Especially now that the creators are teasing new beginnings for some of the familiar characters.

The romance of fan favorites Beth and Rip could continue beyond Yellowstone, actor Cole Hauser hints.
The final episodes of the Paramount Network hit are set to begin production sometime this year. But Hauser suggests the characters played by himself and Kelly Reilly might have a future beyond the show’s fifth season closer — presumably, in Paramount+’s planned Yellowstone spinoff 2024 (working title).
“I’m so focused on finishing Yellowstone the way it needs to be finished right now — well, just the show itself,” Hauser recently told Country Living. “We’ll see where that leads. But I know that there’s some stuff on the horizon when it comes to Taylor’s ideas for Kelly Reilly and myself, and some of the other cast. I’m excited to see where he goes creatively with that. But right now it’s just: Let’s finish strong; let’s do the best we can.

Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone is soon nearing its end with the remaining episodes of the fifth season. Over 6-7 years, the series has amassed a massive following and it is the flagship show for Paramount+. After part 1 of season 5 had been aired, Costner left the show citing creative differences with series creator Taylor Sheridan.

The production of the remaining episodes has been in jeopardy ever since the mess created by Costner’s departure. Yesterday evening, the news broke that Black Bird and Cruella star Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of Marvel Studios' The Fantastic Four.
It's another exciting and impressive addition to the reboot, though there was no word in the trades about who he's playing. The voice of H.E.R.B.I.E. is one possibility, though Mole Man is another suggestion which is being batted about online.
Hauser would be a great choice for a sinister new take on the baddie. Plus, with a story which takes place in the 1960s, using Mole Man as a supporting villain is a, well, fantastic way to pay homage to the team's first comic book appearance.
While he stops short of confirming Hauser has been cast in the role, Jeff Sneider (via The InSneider) is reporting that the current script for The Fantastic Four opens with Marvel's First Family defeating Mole Man.

All the Yellowstone drama has turned Kevin Costner into some sort of anti-hero figure among fans. Costner’s issues have caused some serious damage to the reputation of the TV series that saw its biggest overnight launch for the fifth-season premiere in November 2022. The second part of the fifth season will start filming soon, probably without Costner to lead the show. Yellowstone co-stars have revealed his gentler side over the years which tells a different story from the current drama.
Kevin Costner’s exit may have caused some hatred against him among the Yellowstone cast & crew
Costner plays John Dutton, the patriarch of the Dutton family and the owner of the Yellowstone ranch. Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, and Luke Grimes play his three children, while Cole Hauser plays his ranch hand in the Paramount series.

Deadline reports that Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of the upcoming Naked Gun reboot. While these casting announcements don’t always reveal who the actor will be playing, this time, it does! Hauser will play Captain Ed, the role played by George Kennedy in the previous Naked Gun movies.
Liam Neeson has long been attached to star in the Naked Gun reboot, and it was announced last month that Pamela Anderson would be starring alongside him. It’s not known precisely who Anderson will play, but it’s expected that she’ll be the romantic lead, similar to Priscilla Presley’s role in the original movies. Production will kick off later this year with Akiva Schaffer directing from a script by Dan Gregor and Doug Mand.
Paul Walter Hauser is also attached to play Chris Farley in a biopic about the iconic comedian directed by Josh Gad.

It's a busy old time for Paul Walter Hauser – with good reason, since he's been putting in excellent, memorable and award-winning performances in a variety of films and shows. He's now attached to another big title, joining Liam Neeson in the cast of Paramount's new spin on The Naked Gun.
The 1988 original saw David Zucker, brother Jerry, Jim Abrahams and co-writer Pat Proft turn their short-lived comedy series Police Squad! into a movie. Cole Hauser, who plays bad boy ranch foreman Rip Wheeler in the hit neo-Western drama Yellowstone, expected his character was “going to be so hated” by viewers. Having been part of the popular Paramount Network series from the first season, Hauser’s Rip has become a fan favorite. After killing his stepfather to protect his abused mother, a young Rip was taken in by John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who treated him like a son and taught him how to be a cowboy. However, while loyal and hardworking, Rip also has a violent streak and has murdered on several occasions in order to protect the ranch. It’s because of this ruthless violence that Hauser never thought people, especially women, would like his character. “It surprised the s*** out of [creator] Taylor Sheridan and I, at first,” Hauser told People regarding the positive fan response to his character. “At first, to see women coming up and saying,...

As one might expect, SNL alums David Spade and Dana Carvey have feelings about that upcoming Chris Farley biopic. The two SNL alums were, of course, colleagues and friends of Farley’s, and are understandably protective of his legacy.
“I don’t know how I’m…” Spade says hesitantly in a just-released episode of their Superfly podcast. “[I’m] a little ambivalent about it. I don’t know.”
“I had heard some whispers about this for a long time. I’ve run into this guy Paul,” Spade says of actor Paul Walter Hauser, who is set to star as Farley in the film. “He’s a very nice guy. I think he’s been wanting to do this for a while.”
Carvey voices tentative support for the project, saying “In all seriousness, I wish [Hauser] the best. I think it’s great.” But he also makes sure to note the difficulty of portraying someone like Farley.

Though the tide of late has turned more towards a Bohemian Rhapsody-powered focus on biopics of musicians, there is always room for other entertainers with particularly compelling stories. One such example is Saturday Night Live staple-turned-film comedy actor Chris Farley, whose star burned bright before it was snuffed out decades too early by excess and addiction. Paul Walter Hauser is now attached to star as Farley in the film to be directed by actor/producer and now filmmaker Josh Gad.

Saturday Night Live fans may soon have another reason to go to the movies, as a Chris Farley biopic is currently being shopped to studios by SNL creator Lorne Michaels.
