Kun Faya Kun,Actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sanjeeda Shaikh have reunited for Kushan Nandy’s directorial venture, Kun Faya Kun, after their much appreciated chemistry in Taish.
The actors also gave us a glimpse into their adorable off-screen chemistry where they revealed the cute nick names they have for each other.
Yesterday was actor Harshvardhan’s birthday and the actor was rather flooded with birthday wishes online. One such wish that struck our attention was that of co-star Sanjeeda Shaikh. She took to Twitter to wish Harshvardhan and addressed him as "Pali" in her wish. Pali is his character name in the series they have prevously worked together on. In reply to that Harshvardhan replied, “Thank you Benjamin Button”. Benjamin Button is a popular fictional character who ages backward.
They clearly share a great bond off-screen and we can’t wait to see them creating magic again on screen, in their new characters.

When the makers of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz launched the poster of the film, the audience went crazy. Everyone was in complete awe of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s badass avatar while he sat on a bike, casually eating a ladoo.
The credit for this brilliant idea goes to Rajeev Chudasama, Co-Founder of the renowned Marching Ants Advertising. Be it the posters of Om Shanti Om, or Gangs of Wasseypur, since its inception, Marching Ants Advertising has tried to break the trap of visual mediocrity and push the envelope in trying to create an entire narrative through just a poster.
Having worked closely with Mr. Rajeev Chudasama since his Wasseypur days, the two of them go way back and have had some of the greatest moments together.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui's self-proclaimed heroine-crisis is over, at least for now. After Chitrangda Singh's unceremonious walk-out of Kushan Nandy's Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, there was an interlude of prolonged tension as the film in question was left without a heroine. The crisis has now been solved. Bengali actress Bidita Bag has been roped in to replace Chitrangda Singh. Bidita who has acted in 11 films in 4 languages (Bengali, Hindi, Oriya and Assamese) is described by the Babumoshai Bandookbaaz team as "a younger version of Chitrangda, and just as talented". She was last seen in the experimental segmented Hindi film X where she was cast opposite Rajat Kapoor in one of the episodes. Says director Kushan Nandy, "We wanted someone who would fit in to the plot effortlessly after the earlier heroine's departure. Bidita immediately gave us the dates we required. Moreover she is perfect for the part."...

He shrugs off the suggestion. "We've done whatever we could do together in Gangs Of Wasseypur and Badlapur. Now it will look like overkill if we come together again. My director Kushan Nandy and I are completely puzzled about the situation." Nawaz has even made a jokey suggestion to his director to solve the heroine crisis. Was actress Chitangada Singh confused about the allegedly scandalous incident on location for Kushan Nandy's Babumoshai Bandookbaaz? In an interview the actress claimed that director Nandy persuaded her to do an unbecoming love-making scene with Nawaz, urging her on with language that was crass vulgar and unsuitable. Nandy denied the incident. Now Nawazuddin Siddiqui has broken his silence, firmly defending his director against Chitrangada. According to Chitangada's co-star Nawazuddin no such incident happened. "We did a normal scene. There was nothing unacceptable about what we shot. The incident being described did not happen." Nawaz gives his director a clean chit. "Kushan is a decent soft-spoken person. He's a gentleman, incapable of crass behaviour." Adds Kushan Nandy, "I don't use the language she has accused me of using. I don't know people who use language like that. The shy unassuming director Kushan Nandy is in the eye of a storm. While shooting his latest film Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Kushan apparently asked his leading lady Chitrangda Singh to put more intensity in her love-making act with her leading man Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Apparently the words Kushan used offended Chitrangda's sensibility and she stormed out of the film. However Nandy completely denies the report. States the director, "The story is completely one-sided and absolutely untrue. Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is a thriller and has no space for erotic scenes. But I'd rather not get into a battle of words right now as I have a film to finish." This writer tried getting in touch with Chitrangda for her side of the story. But she did not respond.

Yesterday we had reported that Chitrangda Singh walked out of the much delayed project Babumoshai Bandookbaaz after accusing director Kushan Nandy of being rude whilst directing her for an intimate scene amidst the entire unit. However, now, the filmmaker has come out to talk about the actress' apparent unprofessional behaviour on the sets. Readers may be aware that Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has been in the making for over a year and the film faced setbacks as the situation turned chaotic in West Bengal, where this film was initially supposed to be shot. However, after several delays, the film finally went on floor a few days ago in Lucknow but has now faced another obstacle with the leading lady calling it quits. Kushan Nandy, who is disappointed with Chitrangda, stated that the actress had been behaving weird and throwing tantrums ever since they set foot in Lucknow. He further revealed that though the actress agreed to the script and the scenes of the film when she was presented with the same over a year ago, as soon as the film went on floors, her behaviour changed despite the fact that there was no change in the character she was playing. He also added about the actress refusing to do romantic scenes which she was aware about ever since the start. From stalling shoots to staying in the vanity van if the script wasn't changed according to her demands, Kushan listed down several such incidents after they started shooting. One amongst them, was when a choreographer was chasing Chitrangda for over three days for a dance sequence. But when neither she nor her team responded, they had to shoot the track minus the dance sequence. Claiming that his film is not erotica and that it has just the usual amount of intimacy in any other film like an Ishqiya or Band Baaja Baaraat, Kushan stated that he met Chitrangda to tell her that he wouldn't have any more of this behaviour and the actress apparently retorted and left the set. Kushan also claimed that Chitrangda had called for a meeting with the entire unit as she was extremely flustered with things not going her way and there, discussed about rescripting the second half of the film. When the filmmaker refused, the actress asked him to find another leading lady and stormed out. According to Kushan, she continued to persuade him to make the changes until she boarded the flight back to the city, but he refused to budge as he did not want to compromise on the script despite the fact that he will incur losses.

Two years ago, it was announced that Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Chitrangda Singh will be coming together for a movie. The filmed titled Babumoshai Bandookbaaz was supposed to go on floors in 2014 but didn't due to several issues in the production department. In December 2014, the film was scheduled to start shooting in Kolkata followed by Bolpur and Burdwan in West Bengal. With many back to back releases, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a busy man. The actor, who had taken some time out for Kushan Nandy's Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, had to however put the film on hold as the film faced a lot of resistance whilst shooting in West Bengal. And now, the makers have decided to shift the plotline to a North Indian backdrop.
It so happened that after .Babumoshai Bandookbaaz went on floor in West Bengal, the Fctwei (Federation of Cine Technicians and Workers of Eastern India) and the director of the film Kushan Nandy faced several disputes which forced the team of the film to leave the state. Kushan had further also accused that these labourers extorted a whopping amount of Rs. 55 lakhs from him and hence, the upset filmmaker also announced that he will never return to the state for the film.
With these controversies around, there were speculations...

A long-standing friend of the actress who wishes to go unnamed says, "There are lots of unresolved issues after her marriage. Chitrangda has got custody of their only son. On Wednesday Amit Sadh went into surgery for the foot which he had fractured last month while shooting in Shimla for Subhash Kapoor's Guddu Rangeela. Apparently, complications in the fracture necessitated the surgery. While all his producers wish Amit a quick recovery the seriousness of the foot injury does put a question mark on at least three of his forthcoming projects. While the next schedule of Guddu Rangeela awaits Amit's foot recovery, the actor's presence in two other projects could also get seriously jeopardized. While Tigmanshu Dhulia's Yaara where Amit is slated to play the younger version of Tigmanshu's character is expected to take off in July, Kushan Nandy's political thriller starring Nawazuddin and Chitrangda in which Amit Sadh has a stellar role may not happen in Amit's career at all. Says Tigmanshu Dhulia, "Since Amit and I play the same character in Yaara during different stages of the film,...

This could well be out of the Mahabharata, where Arjun went against his own brothers, the Kauravas. Recently, Arjun Rampal signed his next with Pritish Nandy's older son, Kushan Nandy, a film that will be made under the Pritish Nandy Communications (Pnc) banner. On the surface, this may seem like any other piece of news but it isn't. Arjun may argue that he was being professional in signing the project but his best buds Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar may not buy into that. For the past six years KJo and Srk have been at loggerheads with Pnc.That after so many years Arjun would go against his friends and sign a film with Pnc comes as a huge shock to everyone connected with the Srk camp.Reportedly, in 2004 during the private screening of one of Pnc's films, Shabd, Gauri Khan and Karan Johar came to watch the film with a friend.

According to Variety, Indian production company Pritish Nandy Communications will soon collaborate with U.K. sales company High Point Media to create a genre of Indian horror and paranormal movies, referred to as “I-Horror.”
While Indian horror movies aren’t necessarily a new concept, “I-Horror” will simply act as the by-word distinguishing scary films recognizable by their vibrant colors and character unique to India. In essence, the companies believe they can further the market and branch out to an international audience, without losing their Indian identity.
“India offers a rich and unusual variety of sights and sounds that are entirely unique. We want to tap into them to create this genre and we are hoping that people across cultures will respond to them because of their universal idiom,” said Pnc’s Pritish Nandy.
Variety also reported some I-Horror upcoming films to lookout for:
