The creators of the cult horror film Circle are launching a new anthology series called Dark/Web, which will focus on the chaos and dangers of our connected world. Each episode will consist of a portion of the serialized tale and a stand-alone science fiction or horror short centered around technological themes. The "wrap-around" of the eight-episode series revolves around the mysterious disappearance of a young cyber-security analyst and the trail of stories she leaves behind for her friends to unravel. I know it’s been awhile since we first announced the screenplay contest for the upcoming webseries Dark/Web, but rest assured, it was no easy task to narrow down the stellar screenplays you all sent in, but of course, we had to make a decision.

As we mentioned above, there were a lot of contenders here, but Webster eventually won us over with his deftly-written script, “Hacked.”
