Performer, architect, visual and sound poet, calls himself a polyartist. He is the author of numerous publications in traditional and multimedia form. Among the works and interventions of the last few years, the radio play Le droghe di Gardone - Strategie sonore sull'alcoca dannunziana, commissioned by the Fondation Louis Vuitton of Paris (2016), Poema Bonotto, video published on USB pen-drive by Fondazione Bonotto di Molvena (2015), Akkade ke - Poème épigénétique (Bordeaux, 2017), Epigenetic poetry - La punta della lingua (Ancona, 2019), the publication of the album Epigenetic Poetry (LP with booklet, Ed. He has collaborated with: Adriano Spatola, Arrigo Lora Totino, Dick Higgins, John Giorno, Henri Chopin, Bernard Heidsieck, Julien Blaine, Jean-Jacques Lebel and others. Fontana has participated in hundreds of new poetry and electronic arts festivals in Europe, America and the Orient. Its acoustic production is documented in a vast discography. His first book of verbo-visual poetry is the text / score Radio/Dramma (Geiger 1977), of which the sound reedition is underway for the Recital label of Los Angeles.
