When young drug addict Juliet White dies, she doesn’t find herself in hell but somewhere far worse. Forced to relive the traumas and abuse of her days on earth, guided by a mysterious masked figure, Juliet must not only endure but find something new in her suffering.
Take the characters and general milieu from Shane Ryan’s My Name is A by Anonymous, throw in some psychosexual imagery and general sleaze as seen in the likes of Dustin Mills’ work, then mix in a melancholic, melodramatic soundtrack and declare yourself as the next Lars Von Trier and you have Your Flesh Your Curse – a film that spends its entire runtime trying to tell the audience that women’s “flesh” is their curse. As in because...

Denmark is not really known for genre fare, even if it counts one of the hardest working independent genre actors today, Kim Sonderholm, who also appears in The Ringmaster (aka Finale), among its number. In fact it’s been over 4 years since the last (unless you count the genre-esque output of Lars Von Trier), Kasper Juhl’s Monstrosity. Now Søren Juul Petersen’s film looks to put Denmark on the horror map once again, with a film that isn’t afraid to actually be horrific!
Set on the day that Denmark has reached the finals of the European Championships and everyone is glued to their TVs, Finale takes place, for the most part, at a small petrol station on the edge of town.

Early September 2018, director Johan Vandewoestijne, DoP Luc de Buck and actor Anton Zwijsen were wondering how to prevent middlemen from taking away revenue from their motion pictures and how to generate revenue more quickly for independent films in general, in the fast-changing landscape of film distribution. They ended up making their own Video On Demand platform for independent films and it is accessible from this very day! ThrillFlix.com brings you lots of highly entertaining movies of all genres, including classics, at a subscription cost of €6,99 per month.

When young drug addict Juliet White dies, she doesn’t find herself in hell but somewhere far worse. Forced to relive the traumas and abuse of her days on earth, guided by a mysterious masked figure, Juliet must not only endure but find something new in her suffering.
Take the characters and general milieu from Shane Ryan’s My Name is A by Anonymous, throw in some psychosexual imagery and general sleaze as seen in the likes of Dustin Mills’ work, then mix in a melancholic, melodramatic soundtrack and declare yourself as the next Lars Von Trier and you have Your Flesh Your Curse - a film that spends its entire runtime trying to tell the audience that womens “flesh” is their curse. Movie successes this year – Hermit: Monster Killer, aka Den Gamle Och Monstret; Vilsen, aka Ave Mater; Sesoira; Sargad; Flickan and Root of Darkness have really broken grounds and next year is looking even better. The Swedish-Finish produced slow western scifi Gulgax and the Lhtb flick Hagz (Housewife Alien vs Gay Zombie) are two of the titles you really should watch out for.

Imagine if Halloween fell on Friday the 13th and Nine Inch Nails decided to celebrate that by being in your ears all day? Might be a nightmare to some, to others a dream. Sound impossible? Well, then today this happened…
John Carpenter is set to release Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998, a collection of 13 of Carpenter’s classic movie themes newly recorded with the collaborators that worked on his Lost Themes albums, next Friday, October 20th via Sacred Bones. To celebrate the impending release, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have shared a new version of Carpenter’s iconic Halloween theme.
“I clearly remember my friends and I at 13 years old conning our parents into letting us see Halloween when it came out in 1978. We left the theater forever changed. We were damaged and scarred, with the shit genuinely scared out of us and that theme stuck firmly in our heads.
