She has voiced hundreds of national commercials, TV shows, video games, trailers and documentaries. Some of which include; promo voice for CMT, Rebecca Chambers in the cult classic video game Resident Evil 0, Lady Efrideet in Destiny's Iron Banner, and as the Mask in the VR escape room game, Flow Weaver.
She is the creator of the immersive theatre shows The World Forsakers, The Dispersion of Light, Sorry: An Art Exhibit, and Bow Chicka Bow Wow. She also co-wrote The Dessert Club, which won a Woman in Film & Television award for original play.
Riva is a mentor at the Young Storytellers Foundation in Los Angeles and the Co-Chair on the Board of Directors for the Rainbow Songs Foundation which brings music classes to children living in shelters.
She studied theatre at New York City's Circle in the Square Theatre School and began her acting career at Second City, playing Tina in Tony n' Tina's Wedding.
