Victor Abreu is a Brazilian film director, editor and screenwriter. Graduated in Radio and Television at Universidade Metodista de São Paulo, with a Master's Degree in Film Direction by Band à Part Film School, Barcelona. Since 2007, Victor works with audiovisual. He started as assistant director, at 2011 began to work as director in advertisement spots, branded content and television programs.
Debuted on the independent cinema with the short movie "Logout" (2018), filmed in Barcelona, which was selected by the Festival de la Imatge de Calella (Spain) and Manuel Trujillo Durán (Venezuela). "Milton Freire, a shout beyond history" is Victor's second short movie that was selected at the brazilian film festivals 24ª Mostra de Cinema de Tiradentes , 14º Cine Esquema Novo and Curta Cinema 2021 - Festival Internacional de Curtas do Rio de Janeiro. It has also selected at international festivals and won honorable mention at Mental Health Rights Film Festival (Portugal 2022) and the Human Rights Award at Canberra Mental Health Film festival (Australia 2021).
As film editor, Victor worked in a several TV shows, advertisement, video clips and series for different players as Nat Geo, Globoplay and Paramount Plus.
