Who were the best LGBTQ couples in daytime soap opera history? The sad truth is that there aren’t that many to choose from. Despite the shows dipping their toes in the water with queer characters and storylines in the 1990s — like Ryan Phillippe as groundbreaking gay teen Billy Douglas on “One Life to Live” from 1992 to 1993 — the show shied away from romance for its queer characters until the 21st century. Happy Wednesday, "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. Today's December 19, 2018 episode delivered the drama we expected to see and then some. Brooke and Hope teamed up against Liam again today. They tried to get him to break down and give into their ultimatum which involved the removal of Steffy's mother Taylor from their lives. Liam attempted to put up a defensive stance against them by saying, "I don't think it's right that you two are trying to force me to get Steffy to choose between her mother and her daughter!" Hope still taunting this extremely bold attitude of hers, stormed out and said she was going to go talk to someone who can help with this situation. Later on, we learned that Hope ran over to see Steffy in an effort to set up a compromise. Hope suggested to Steffy that Taylor take a place in Santa Monica instead of living with Steffy.

Hey "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. According to the folks over at soapcentral.com , another one of the "Bold And The Beautiful" stars is really, really close to not being on the show at all anymore. This is definitely not going to come as a surprise since this person is barely in the current storyline. The person we're talking about is Rick Forrester portrayer Jacob Young. Apparently, he's no longer on contract with the show. He hasn't officially quit yet, but he's definitely looking to pursue other gigs and opportunities. Jacob recently hit up his official Twitter account back on April 19, 2018 to address this very issue. Apparently, there had been some rumors flying around that he was off contract with The Bold and The Beautiful. He confirmed that the rumors were true by writing: "#Rt I want to take a moment to address the rumors that I'm currently off contract.

The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards will be handed out on April 29, but the winners in the soap opera acting categories have already been decided by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. That includes the race for Best Younger Actress where Reign Edwards is nominated for the third year in a row for her role as Nicole Avant on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.” But she has yet to win. Will she prevail for the first time for scenes in which she struggles with the choice of whether to give up her child?
The reel opens with Nicole in a consultation with her doctor, who has diagnosed her with secondary infertility. She may not be able to conceive another child. But she has already given birth to one child, Lizzy, whom Nicole carried as a surrogate for her transgender sister Maya (Karla Mosley). If Nicole will never be able to give birth again,...

Happy Friday and weekend "Bold And The Beautiful" fans. We've got some not-so-great news for you guys in regards to Bill Spencer's portrayer Don Diamont (above). As we previously reported he's currently over in Italy attempting to get his dance groove on in Italy's version of "Dancing With The Stars." Now, some new information from the folks over at Soapcentral, reveals that he has indeed been injured. Apparently, he suffered a hip injury and is also experiencing a lot of back pain. The good news is these injuries have not stopped him from competing especially when you consider that he took all that time off from the show and then had to fly all the way to Italy. The details are that Don actually got injured while rehearsing for the show. He apparently hopped on his official Instagram account to share the unfortunate news. He wrote, "Had a hip...

The moment of reckoning is here for Rick on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” And we reckon that it’s going to take him a long while to process what’s going on. As TheWrap previously reported, the CBS soap hit viewers with a humdinger of a story twist when it was revealed that Maya (played by Karla Mosley) was actually born a male, named Myron. And now it’s time for Maya to reveal the that little tidbit to her fiance Rick. See video: 'Bold and the Beautiful' Star Karla Mosley on Transgender Shocker: I Asked, 'Why Me?' Unfortunately,...

For the last two years, The Bold and the Beautiful‘s Karla Mosley has played homeless-woman-turned-aspiring-fashion-mogul Maya Avant. Maya is plucky, beautiful and driven, but she’s hardly a newsmaker.
Then, Wednesday’s episode revealed that Maya used to be a man named Myron. All of a sudden, the CBS soap’s willingness to explore a transgender character — which other daytime dramas have tried (and failed at) in the past — has more than just B&B diehards waiting for today’s episode.
What will the new development mean for Maya and Rick’s relationship? What about that baby Dayzee helped her have adopted?...
