Good news Marshmallows! The first three seasons of “Veronica Mars” are coming to Hulu, and they’ll be there three weeks before the eight-episode revival premieres.
Hulu said on Saturday that the first three season of the Upn/CW series — 64 episodes in total — will be available to stream beginning July 1. This does not include the 2014 feature film, which is still available on HBO Go and HBO Now.
That means that viewers will have 25 days to get caught up — or reacquainted — with the Kristen Bell-led series before it comes back with new episodes on Friday, July 26.

It is a good morning indeed, Marshmallows, as Hulu just dropped the teaser for the “Veronica Mars” revival during its upfront event in New York.
The 1-minute clip shows the return of Kristen Bell as Veronica Mars herself and many other familiar (Logan!) and new faces (Patton Oswalt and J.K. Simmons’ characters) to the fictional seaside town of Neptune, California. And while everything seems happy at first, with tourists enjoying some fun in the sun as the small town celebrates spring break — Veronica is in for a different kind of blast, literally. Yes, bombs are going off left and right and everyone’s favorite P.I. needs to get to the bottom of it before it’s too late. Don’t worry, she still finds time to get cozy with Logan (Jason Dohring).
Watch the teaser above.

Max Greenfield (The Neighborhood, New Girl) ) is the latest original Veronica Mars cast member set to reprise their role in the upcoming Hulu revival. Also joining the cast of the eight-episode limited series, scheduled to premiere in 2019, is Patton Oswalt (Happy!).
Greenfield’s Leo D’Amato was the new Sheriff’s Deputy when he recurred on the first three seasons of Veronica Mars. In the followup movie, Leo was a detective at the San Diego Police Department who helped Veronica (Kristen Bell) in the Susan Knight murder investigation.
The reboot returns star Bell, Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring and Greenfield to the series that ran for three seasons on Upn and the CW from 2004-2007. The "Veronica Mars" movie was released on Friday, in a limited number of theaters, via various digital and On Demand platforms, and through digital downloads that came as one of the Kickstarter rewards. (Though I understand there have been some glitches with that.) I already reviewed the film in advance, but there are certain things I didn't want to talk about until many of you had seen it. So spoilers coming up just as soon as I'm a Hooters barback... The best thing about the movie was how much it made me want to see another one — not just because I thought Rob Thomas, Diane Ruggiero and Kristen Bell did such a great job of making Veronica work as an adult character, but because the unusual circumstances of this movie's creation meant it had to be made in a very particular way. I respect the idea that Thomas wanted to...

“One of the things we didn’t have time to do in the movie is create this whole back story persona for Bonnie DeVille, who’s a key player in the movie but dead the moment you hear about her,...
