Part 1 of Manifest‘s fourth and final season ended with one of the most devastating TV deaths of the year.
Zeke, overhearing Olive and Tj discuss how essential Cal was to saving humanity, took matters in his own hands. As Cal lay on his deathbed, the empath used his powers to — Spoiler Alert — absorb Cal’s leukemia, sparing the teen’s life and sacrificing his own in the process. And while a weeping Ben held his son, grateful that he was still alive, Michaela mourned her now-deceased husband at the edge of the bed.

The end is nigh for “Manifest” — and maybe the world. The canceled-too-soon NBC series was revived by Netflix after a devastating Season 3 finale for one last, extra-long season, and the first 10 episodes delivered one game-changing revelation after the next, including the threat of apocalypse.
Indeed, over the course of the season, we learned that the Death Date isn’t just for passengers — it’s for the whole world. We also made contact with Divine Consciousness, found out the Callings are memories, discovered the powers of the Omega Sapphire and reunited with a ton of 828ers. And it’s a good thing there are 10 more episodes to go, because things are looking pretty dire in the Part 1 finale.

This article contains spoilers for Manifest season 4 part 1.
While watching the tenth episode of Manifest season 4, it would have been easy to forget that the final season still had ten more installments to go with all that was coming to a head. Many of the most sought after answers seemed within reach, or at least a satisfying number of them. As a result, there are surprisingly plenty of questions finally answered in this midseason finale even though there is obviously a lot of story left to tell.
No one should kid themselves, though. Manifest will never provide all the answers to a story involving the unfathomable motives of a divine consciousness. Just as Saanvi learned in season 3, viewers have come to understand that faith has a seat at the table, but when Saanvi reminds Dr. Gupta of this realization, the former Eureka scientist merely responds, “And perhaps someday we’ll understand how.

Saying goodbye to Zeke Landon was harder than expected.
Ever since he beat his death date, it's been hard to shake the notion that he's living on borrowed time, and the events of Manifest Season 4 Episode 9 and Manifest Season 4 Episode 10 cemented him as a hero.
If you watch Manifest online, you know everything happens for a reason. Cal succumbing to cancer wouldn't make sense because of how much he's been through as a passenger on Flight 828.
Everything that's transpired has prepared us for this moment. Zeke made many bad choices in life, but he got the opportunity to turn it around and has now saved Cal more than once.
If there is a God at the other end of these callings, it wanted Zeke to fulfill a prophecy, and that prophecy may well be Cal as the dragon that can take down whatever form Angelina takes next.
Zeke's death will profoundly impact the Stones,...

Talk about a rollercoaster of emotions.
Manifest Season 4 Episode 8 featured some killer twists, chilling encounters, and a big return fans have been waiting all season long for.
We'll start with Angelina. She has more than one life at this stage, and her constantly popping back up is becoming cumbersome.
Her appearance on "Full Upright & Locked Position" was needed to tell the tale of the killers and why they were carrying out these criminal deeds.
Noelle kidnapping Adrian and complaining about what he did to help her daughter confirmed my theory that she's targeting those who helped her daughter.
Say what you will about Adrian, but deep down, he doesn't have a bad bone in his body. He's been confused about his calling in life ever since his return.
He made some not Angelina-sized mistakes, but he thought his actions were necessary.
He helped Angelina when she needed him the most,...

If you’ve ever been aboard an international flight, you know just how crowded those things can get. So naturally, the “Manifest” cast is pretty huge. First released on NBC and now streaming on Netflix, the record-breaking show follows the passengers of a plane that disappears mid-flight and lands five years later without explanation, or anyone on board noticing something was wrong.
But once they land, the Flight 828 passengers find their lives forever changed — and forever connected — through a series of visions dubbed “Callings,” which drive the 828ers to solve crimes, uncover mysteries and continually reunite thanks to the influences of a force they never fully understand.
“Manifest” just returned with the first half of a super-sized 20-episode fourth and final season, and as the series starts to pay off the promise that “it’s all connected,” many of the 828 passengers make their return, along with some new faces — or in Cal’s case,...

Sometimes life imitates art, which is essentially what happened when NBC’s twisty mystery drama “Manifest” was saved from cancellation by Netflix. Just as the passengers of Flight 828 got a second chance at life, the show gets a second chance to explain why, and that time has come with the first half of the final season — billed as “Manifest” Season 4 Part 1.
It’s been a year and a half off screen and two years on screen, and somehow both nothing and everything has changed since Season 3’s devastating cliffhanger. The beauty of the intricately constructed mysteries of Manifest is that they lead to even more questions.
Manifest Season 4 Episode 3 answered some of our burning questions that paved the way for even more mystery.
If you watch Manifest online, you already know that peacocks have been hinted at as one of the keys to unraveling the series' biggest mysteries.
Saanvi's realization could help tie many previous theories together to make one big answer.
If anyone can crack this case, it's Saanvi. Since the beginning, she's searched for a scientific solution to a problem that has plagued everyone we've met.
Michaela and Amuta having a shared calling highlighted the urgency of their meeting at the precinct and the latter's apprehension about helping made sense.
He was well aware that the world had it out for 828ers, so getting to pilot private jets was the closest thing he would ever get to normalcy.

Manifest series creator Jeff Rake will finally have the opportunity to answer all the lingering questions with the much-anticipated fourth – and final – season, premiering on Netflix on November 4, 2022. Viewership numbers for seasons one and two on the streaming service were so impressive that Netflix executives made Manifest fans’ dreams come true by granting the canceled series one final season.
Season four is divided into two parts, with the first 10 episodes arriving on Nov. 4th. The final 10 episodes will follow in 2023.
Manifest season four episode one picks up two years after Angelina (Holly Taylor) murdered Ben’s wife, Grace (Athena Karkanis), and kidnapped their baby, Eden. The story also picks up with Cal, who aged five years during the season three finale, now seven years older and still very confused about what’s happened to him.

"It's all connected."
The phrase we've heard so often throughout Manifest came back in a big way on Manifest Season 4 Episode 2, and it's getting increasingly difficult to decipher what it means.
As we're in the final season, we will get answers, and they can't come soon enough.
Manifest excels when it blends the mystery with the soapy aspects, and both were on full display during "All Call."
Ben is well and truly done being the leader of the Lifeboat, and who can blame him?
His wife was murdered, his son aged up five years, and his daughter is missing. It's hard to imagine the emotional weight on Ben's shoulders as he tries to navigate this very trying part of life.
Eden being declared dead only solidified his hope of finding her alive, and while going on a mysterious podcast that threw it back to Manifest Season 1 probably wasn't the best idea,...

Manifest, which is preparing to land for one final season on Netflix after its untimely cancellation by NBC, has been nothing short of a bumpy ride. However, the TV series has captivated viewers with its story of the Montego Airways Flight 828 passengers, who landed in New York City to the shock of a lifetime. They had been missing for five and a half years and presumed dead in which time their loved ones all aged, but they returned completely unchanged.
Throughout three seasons, we’ve watched the passengers struggle to adapt to their new reality, which has changed their relationships with their families, made them garner often-unwanted attention, and put them in difficult and dangerous situations as their return gave them prophetic visions and thoughts known as “Callings.”
But that’s not all, so before things get rolling again, let’s look back at where the show left us…

As Manifest prepares to air its fourth and final season on Netflix, longtime fans know that there are a lot of questions still to be answered in the twenty episodes that remain. Will the divine nature of the callings ever truly be known? Is there a scientific explanation behind the dark lightning and the time jumps? Is the death date avoidable, or is it even real? We asked the cast members, as fans of their own show, what their favorite long-held mysteries were now that they know what audiences are about to discover.
For J. R. Ramirez, the actor behind the intrepid police detective Jared Vasquez, the majority of the dramatic tension comes from the looming danger presented by the so called “death date,” a presumed expiration date for all Flight 828 passengers based on the amount of time the airplane leaped forward into the future. “The fact that there’s this looming,...

After being brought back from the dead (cancellation), Manifest is preparing for its final descent with a fourth and final season on Netflix. Cast members Josh Dallas (Ben), Melissa Roxburgh (Michaela), J.R. Ramirez (Jared), Matt Long (Zeke), Parveen Kaur (Saanvi), Luna Blaise (Olive), Ty Doran (Cal), Holly Taylor (Angelina) and Daryl Edwards (Vance) and creator Jeff Rake were at New York Comic Con to tease what to expect in a panel moderated by Jim Halterman. “We went back to exactly where we always planned to go,” Rake said. “The first thing [Netflix] said to us is continue the story, keep going where you always intended to.” Read on for everything that was revealed about what’s still to come. Ben’s grief beard: With Baby Eden still missing after the two year time jump, Ben is “in a really dark place,” Rake teased. “He’s sort of stuck in this grief pit and this profound anger,...

It's hard to believe it, but Manifest Season 4 premieres in under two months.
Netflix's Tudum Global Fan Event featured our most extensive look at the first half of the final season yet.
What's immediately obvious is that we'll be getting a bevy of answers during the first 10 episodes of Manifest Season 4, premiering November 4 on Netflix.
Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), Ben (Josh Dallas), Saanvi (Parveen Kaur), and the rest of the survivors of flight 828 are desperate for answers in the two-minute trailer.
They are fast approaching the expiration date that has been hanging over the series since the beginning.
Michaela and Ben are understandably reeling from the events of Manifest Season 3, and it looks like they have far bigger problems on Manifest Season 4.
Ben looks a bit worse for wear and when you consider the emotional turmoil he's gone through, it makes sense.
The final season will be hard on him...

Michaela (Melissa Roxburg) and Ben Stone (Josh Dallas), Jared Vasquez (J.R. Ramirez) and more are back in action and chasing down any and all leads to figure out how to beat their expiration date in the trailer for “Manifest” Season 4, which Netflix dropped Saturday. (You can watch it above)
The passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, who went missing five and a half years ago, only to return like no time had passed, have an expiration date of June 2, 2024.
“I had a calling, it was awful,” Ben says to his sister Michaela at the beginning of the trailer. “Everything was swallowed by ash.”
The trailer follows Ben as he swipes his finger across a dusty (or ashy) desktop, before cutting to a shot of a volcano looking ready to erupt.
