The 2023 Billboard Music Awards didn’t air on TV this year and the event was streamed online through videos uploaded to the Billboard website.
Pre-taped performances and acceptance speeches, which were filmed all around the world while artists are on tour, made up the awards show this year.
Morgan Wallen was the big winner of the night with 11 wins while Taylor Swift followed closely behind with 10 wins, including the Top Artist prize.
Taylor and Drake are now tied for the most wins ever at the Billboard Music Awards.
“Well this is unreal,” Taylor told fans in her speech. “The fact that you guys have given me 10 Billboard Awards — I’m talking to the fans specifically. None of this happens without you. The Billboards base everything off of what you are listening to and what you’re passionate about, and I’m so honored that this year you made The Eras Tour so magical.

These awards are based on fan interactions with music, but they’re not decided by an online vote. Instead, Billboard decides its finalists and winners using the metrics that determine the Billboard charts, including record sales, radio airplay and online streaming performance. Even if you're not into writing your own tune, sharing a Spotify playlist full of songs about soulmates, songs about love at first sight, and songs about saying, "I love you," is a sweet and low-pressure way to get your feelings across. And thankfully, there is a wealth of songs about falling in love out there - across all genres - to show someone just how much you care for them.
The best love song, however, is the tune that resonates the most with you and your partner. So whether you prefer a slow, romantic ballad, a sexy song, or a song that's more upbeat, your love interest is certain to be falling just as hard for you after giving it a listen.

Heading into the 2023 Video Music Awards, all eyes were on Taylor Swift, and she delivered. Swift swept the live awards show, winning all four of her categories that were announced during the live MTV broadcast.
Out of the 11 nominations Swift received, she won in all categories but two. Song of the Summer went to Jung Kook ft. Latto for “Seven,” and Olivia Rodrigo won Best Editing for “vampire.” Neither of these categories were presented during the live broadcast of the awards show.
But the rest — which included best pop, song of the year, best direction, artist of the year, show of the summer, album of the year, best visual effects, best cinematography and the highly coveted video of the year — all went to Swift. In fact, Swift’s Video of the Year award marks the fourth time the singer and songwriter has received this award, the most of any artist in VMAs history.

Taylor Swift is heading into the 2023 Video Music Awards poised to break her own record. With the nomination of “Anti-Hero” for Video of the Year, Swift may be the first artist to ever win the honor four times, beating the record she set just last year.
To date, Swift is the only artist to win MTV’s Video of the Year on three separate occasions. In 2022, she took home the honor for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (Taylor’s Version).” In 2015, she won for “Bad Blood (featuring Kendrick Lamar),” and in 2019 she won for “You Need to Calm Down.”
Video of the Year is far from the only nomination Swift received. The singer and songwriter was nominated in eight categories altogether, including Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Visual Effects and Best Editing.

American pop star Stephen Sanchez has just dropped his new single ‘Be More’, and he has gone full on old school here, capturing the vibe of ’60s and ’70s pop, with the music video also giving a vintage vibe. The 20-year old Nashville-based singer gave one of the best vocal performances of his career so far belting out some extremely beautiful high notes and delivering them with great emotion, with the accompanying piano and simple drums giving it a very jazz like vibe.
It may not be too prudent to say that Stephen actually looks a little like Elvis Presley here, and even his style is a bit reminiscent of some of the pop tunes that Elvis, John Lennon or Paul McCartney have belted out in their careers . While he may not have the chops of these legends, he certainly has that vibe, and that alone is highly refreshing.

Elton John raised the roof at Glastonbury last night in what could be the Rocketman singer’s last ever performance, and he was watched by more than 7M viewers on the BBC. The figure was almost triple that of Paul McCartney’s headline slot in 2022.
The legendary British singer’s three-hour performance drew a near-50% audience share and becomes one of the most-watched TV shows of the year so far, according to Barb data from overnights.tv, just behind Happy Valley. His performance was by miles the most-watched Glastonbury set across the weekend on the BBC, which shows wall-to-wall coverage of the Worthy Farm fest.
At the festival, early estimates had the performance as one of the most-watched of all time, possibly eclipsing Dolly Parton in 2014 at well over 100,000.

Sir Elton John delivered his final performance in the UK on Sunday at the 2023 Glastonbury Music Festival as part of his ongoing “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour.
The 20-song set included fan favorites, live rarities, and several surprise guest appearances. To open the show, John performed his cover of The Who’s “Pinball Wizard” for the first time since 2009. From there, he treated the massive crowd to renditions of “The Bitch Is Back,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” and “I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues.”
With the accompaniment of Gabriels’ Jacob Lusk and London Community Gospel Choir, John also dusted off Are You Ready for Love for the first time since 2014. Other surprise guests included The Killers’ Brandon Flowers, who joined John for “Tiny Dancer,” and Rina Sawayama, who joined in for a duet of “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”

It was a balmy Sunday evening on the last night of Glastonbury‘s 2023 edition and the most casual of observers would’ve been forgiven for thinking that Worthy Farm had transformed itself into an Elton John clone factory. Across the site, festival-goers were decked out in sequined knock-offs of the legendary singer’s iconic Dodgers Baseball outfit, feather boas, and oversized sunglasses befitting of the man himself.
The scene was testament to the excitement for John’s Glastonbury debut and, to add to the scale of the occasion, what might...

Sofia Richie totally wins for coolest wedding entertainment. Not only did the 24-year-old model's father, iconic musician Lionel Richie, play the piano and sing while Sofia and her groom, music executive Elliot Grainge, danced during their April 22 wedding at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, but so did some other famous family members.
Sofia has shared snippets of video of her Chanel dress and from the entire wedding weekend on social media since saying "I do." A new video posted to TikTok on April 24 includes clips of Lionel's performance. Sofia's sister, Nicole Richie, introduces their father as "Lionel effing Richie" in the footage before video shows him playing his song "Stuck on You."
There's also footage of Sofia practicing her walk down the flower-lined aisle while her friends sing Stephen Sanchez's "Until I Found You" - a clip closely followed by one of the actual aisle walk...

Could love be in the air for JoJo Siwa?
The dance pro hinted at a new love interest in her latest TikTok video on Wednesday, which she captioned, “happy feelings are meant to be shared.”
Siwa starts the video by flashing through some images from the last month, writing, “Things I haven’t shown you for the last month.”
Then, with Stephen Sanchez’s “Until I Found You” playing in the background, Siwa shows fans a series of photos alluding to a new special someone in her life. The partner in question, however, is never shown.
In one photo, Siwa is seen showing off a box of fresh cookies, seemingly from her lady love, with the caption, “My Precious Girl What!!!!! Thank you for the cookie surprise.”
The next sees Siwa enjoying the sweet treat, with the “Dance Moms” alum writing, “I’m so happy. I love you.”
