Fox Janette Manrara and Marko Germar on “So You Think You Can Dance”
We’re down to the top four, and the final two shows! The four will dance solos, partner with All-Stars, dance with each other, and have mini-interviews with Cat.
Who will be crowned America’s favorite dancer? Tonight’s your last chance to vote!
Cat’s in a strapless, blingy, sparkly dress, with her hair up and red lipstick. And, for once, even the hemline is very nice.

So You Think You Can Dance delivered surprising twists aplenty on Wednesday night. Nine of the 10 remaining dancers scored rave reviews from the judges. One choreographer got spanked rather harshly by this week’s guest panelist. And an All-Star dancer bled (rather sexily) for his art. But nothing will be more shocking than seeing one of Season 8′s fabulous female contestants head home on this week’s results show. (Shouldn’t the FCC step in and threaten Fox with a hefty fine for denying us another week of one of these singularly fierce ladies? And doesn’t that sentence make...

Tonight’s show is thoroughly entertaining. For the first time I rewind a lot of the dances during commercials, and the judges’ comments made me see things in them I might have missed. I would probably enjoy many of the dances more if the camera didn’t pan around so much and I could see them the way the judges do. All the judges do a routine with an all-star,...

It's starting to be a running joke on "So You Think You Can Dance." On Wednesday night (July 21), Nigel Lythgoe announced that for the third week in a row, another top dancer injured himself and will not be dancing. This time around, it was Billy Bell's turn.
My first thought was, "They have got to be kidding!" Nobody seems to know why this batch of contestants keeps falling apart, and Nigel stated that they'll be getting someone to come in and help with the warm-ups. Obviously the dancers aren't properly warming up, which is extremely vital when pushing the body the way they do. Should they also be taking dance classes alongside their rehearsals to maintain their strength and technique? And what about this season's format? Is it pushing the dancers too hard?
But it wasn't all injuries and confusion last night, as there was plenty of dancing.

Inspiration doesn’t always come from a likely source. In many cases, it comes when you least expect it, and in the most unexpected ways. This was the case for Choreographer, Chuck Maldonado, whose chance meeting with a superstar recording artist, led to an unbelievably successful career in dance.
During his break between filming and rehearsals, for the February 2010 box office sequel, Stomp The Yard 2: Homecoming, Chuck sat down with Iae and shared how he went from corporate America to becoming one of music and film’s most sought after choreographers.
Iae: Tell us about some of the film projects you’re working on now?
Cm: Well, currently I’m working on Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, which is my 19th movie, by the way. This is the movie that I’m most proud of because I’m bringing a lot of me with the dance. Like the characters in the film,...
