The news that Paget Brewster will return to the cast of Criminal Minds in Season 7 gave many fans reason to cheer. But executive producer Erica Messer's reaction was more a sigh of a relief.
Paget Brewster returns to Criminal Minds; Rachel Nichols to exit
And for good reason. Messer, who will officially handle showrunner duties this season, is coming off a Season 6 that was rocked by the never-fully-explained cutting of two fan favorites, Brewster and A.J. To keep us going through this incredibly long three-week hiatus, ABC has released the promotional photos for episode 19 of Castle season 3 entitled “Law and Murder”. The episode will deal with a case that will turn the legal system crazy. During the trial of a murdered socialite, a juror suddenly tumbles out of the jury box dead. When it turns out that the juror was poisoned, Castle and Beckett soon discover in their investigation that this seemingly innocent juror may not have been so innocent after all.
These photos come at a time that the fans are eager to find out anything about the show, given how things were left off on 3.17 "Countdown". Castle was seemingly heartbroken after Beckett reunited with her doctor boyfriend and decided to give him another chance. The show's fan-base was split into two teams: the ones who hated it and the ones who loved it. Personally,...

One of the fun things with these pic posts is trying to figure out what is going on. Take the upcoming January 5th episode of Modern Family which everyone is curious about as it apparently features James Marsden shirtless — and possibly in a hot tub with Mitchell and Cameron.
Guessing from the sequence, I gather that Mitchell somehow allows himself to accept a Reiki massage from Mr. Marsden and during the massage, Cameron comes home and causes a case of massagus interruptus and then Lily's dads have to work out their issues.
Then we've got pics from the January 12th episode featuring Mary Lunn Raskjub as a former flame of Mitchell's. Looks like Mitchell will have yet more explaining to do!
Enjoy!

On the November 24 episode Celia Weston (who will always be Alice's Jolene Hunnicutt to me) guest stars as Cam's mom. And Manny should refrain from internet diagnosing. Here's the synopsis:
"Mother Tucker" - Cameron loves his mom, so Mitchell isn't quite sure how to tell Cam that she makes him a little uncomfortable. Meanwhile, when Haley finally breaks up with Dylan, Phil takes it harder than anyone else, and Jay's little stomach ache gets exacerbated when he and Manny start looking things up on a medical website, on Modern Family, Wednesday, November 24 (9:00-9:31Pm Est).

Patridge and her "Dwts" partner, Tony Dovolani, think the judges will be impressed by their dance moves and the beauty of the dance. "It's really pretty," Patridge said. "Tony's shaving his legs for it!"

Chicago – The best thing about the third-season premiere of the consistently-entertaining “Castle” may be that they’ve finally taken that stupid “Turner & Hooch” line out of the introduction to the hit mystery show. Other than that, the show pretty much picks up where it left off with two of the most charismatic stars on television often disguising the fact that the writing doesn’t live up to their talents.
Television Rating: 3.5/5.0
Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are remarkable enough on “Castle” that I actually suggested they be considered for Emmy nominations for the second season. With palpable chemistry, they are as charming a pair of leads as any TV creator could hope to cast. And the blast that they’re having each and every week on “Castle” makes it one of the most enjoyable programs of the week. I haven’t missed an episode and doubt that I will as...

If a deal is struck, Vangsness' character could recur or appear regularly on the spin-off, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. CBS took a similar approach last season, with Rocky Carroll's Director Leon Vance appearing on both NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles...

It's all falling into place.
We'll be getting a healthy dose of the future when FlashForward's next episode, "The Garden of Forking Paths" airs. It's set on March 15 (the Ides of March), and, as any follower of the show knows, that's the day that Demetri Noh (John Cho) is supposed to die. It's also the day on which blackout mastermind Dyson Frost has predicted his death. Both will be trying to prevent their futures from happening. Can they succeed? According to these promo pictures (and this press release), things are going to be looking pretty tough for Demetri.

Los Angeles — Even though he's no longer competing on "Dancing With the Stars," the presence of the former astronaut and MTV icon Buzz Aldrin will still be felt.
The morning after his castmate was sent home, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco talked about how inspired he was by the 80-year-old.
"Buzz is one of the best to ever do it. He walked on the moon, man. We respect him and what he's done for this country. He's big," Ochocinco said, explaining the emotional salute he and the other celebrities and dancers gave Aldrin, who was Monday night's low-scorer, as he and partner Ashly Costa did an encore of their waltz.

Kate Gosselin’s still got it! Performing to a bigger, broadcast audience, the Tlc reality star showed she has the makings of a genuine Hollywood star when she catapulted ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” to its largest opening audience ever — nearly 24 million viewers — Monday night, according to early Nielsen stats.
In one of those unfounded and incredible ironies that make the business of covering TV so abstract and metaphysical, the dance promise and performance of Andrews, Espn’s peeping-tom dupe and victim, tied for third place in the judges’ voting with the promise and performance of Anderson — the Men’s Magazine world’s favorite clothing-taker-off-er. But, most conspicuous and impressive, it delivered ABC its best numbers in the two-hour block in regarding 10 years (excluding the 2001 Monday Rose Bowl broadcast) — going all the way back to one Monday night when the network aired “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” followed...

The widespread attention paid to Tiger Woods' apology this morning proves that regardless of what we may think of him right now, the guy is way more than just a sports icon: He's a major pop culture icon. And while sports stars ultimately live and die by their performance on the field, pop icons have a few more options. So how can Tiger use this pop culture status to reinvent his image? 1. Lighten up Hugh Grant's self-effacing appearance on The Tonight Show back in the day completely resurrected his romcom image. Unfortunately, The Tonight Show is no longer...

On last night's Cougar Town, everyone had a bunch of sex and most of them shared a bunch of feelings and it was all so touching that I now have this weird bite mark on my knee. Ellie threw "Mr. McNeedy" a bone, Travis took time out from hanging with his country music superstar guy friends to camp out with his twiggy girlfriend Kylie, Laurie slept with Grayson again ("It was raining! Though names of participants have not yet been disclosed, executive producer Martin Hilton tells THR memorable personalities, including former winners, are game, and that the idea sparked from the friendships, rivalries, and romances that have developed among past participants. 'Tis the season to be jolly despondent that the forecast for brand-new network fare looks relatively bleak from now until the New Year. But then again, my DVR could use a little vacation, considering it's been worked harder than an Anna Wintour assistant for most of 2009. Back in September, I publicly announced my intention to break up with Grey's Anatomy and Masterpiece Mystery, but while I indeed made good on my promise to axe those series from my DVR's "series recording" list (as well as The Mentalist), I ended up adding a whopping seven new series to my regular rotation...

I screamed aloud "Noooooo!" when I learned that, due to the grim economy, Oprah had canceled her annual Favorite Things episode this year, which, as you may remember, was filled with amazing gifts and women shrieking at the top of their lungs. How would I know what to buy for the holidays? Where else could I see women going bonkers over crockpots? And what other talk show would lure me into signing up for an audience ticket? Well, where Oprah stands, Tyra Banks can't be far behind, and this year, the Tyra host gave deserving mothers—all of whom were...

The dining table at the Osmond family Thanksgiving feast will have all the fixings -- turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a mirrored disco ball trophy. "It will be a nice little centerpiece," Donny Osmond, 51, joked Wednesday, just 24 hours after he and partner Kym Johnson won Season Nine of Dancing with the Stars. Though it had been a busy few days for the oldest contestant to win the mirrored trophy, it was business as usual Wednesday in Las Vegas at his show, Donny and Marie. "If you saw the work that went into this season," Osmond told People magazine after the win, adding that season nine had been "an emotional roller coaster" for him. "[My partner] Kym [Johnson] is so amazing. Of all the things I've done in my career, this is right up there."
Although the whole season's worth of contestants came out to celebrate the show's big finale, Osmond was the star of the night, even singing his classic tune "Puppy Love." As his name was announced, he went over to hug his wife, Debbie. "That...

Three couples hoofed it out for the season nine Dancing finale Monday night and, much like in season eight, the competition had something for everyone. Donny Osmond, Mya and Kelly Osbourne prepared three dances each for the last performance show of the year. Take it from a gal that has an inside track on the often topsy-turvy world of reality show ballroom dance. Improv Act: Kelly Osbourne was pretty in pink Monday night as she sashayed on the dance floor for her first performance of the night. But things weren't as they appeared. "In case you didn't know, my 20-second solo was completely made up," she says of her rumba. "I got out there and froze." Her partner Louis van Amstel had complete faith in her as he watched on. Staying on Target: Kelly Osbourne and her dance partner Louis van Amstel didn't stay long after Tuesday's results show because the pair had to catch a late-night flight to New York. “I've lived there for seven years and her parents are in New York, so we're going to have a good time,” says van Amstel. Although Osbourne has a work obligation, which she committed before the start of the show, van Amstel says he plans to keep Osbourne focused and her distractions -- such as her computer and phone -- locked in a black box. But it doesn’t look like it will be too hard now that the couple has made it to the semi-finals. “I never thought we would get this far and it’s so close we can taste it," says Osbourne. Dream Come True: As Britain's Got Talent sensation Susan Boyle, whose first CD will be released Nov. 23, slowly made her entrance onto the Dancing with the Stars stage late Monday afternoon to pre-tape a performance, which will air on Tuesday's results show, the crowd burst into applause. Boyle looked elegant in a black sequined gown, her hair coiffed to perfection. Despite battling a case of pre-show nerves, Boyle was completely in her element once the orchestra began playing the opening notes of her signature song, "I Dreamed a Dream" from the musical Les Miserables. Dancers Tony Dovolani and Chelsie Hightower performed an elegant routine to Boyle's spot-on vocals. But because of a wardrobe malfunction -- Dovolani's bowtie came unfastened from his tuxedo shirt -- they had to do a second take. Unbelievably, it was even better than the first. Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his partner Debi Mazar may have been voted off Dancing with the Stars weeks ago, but the pro has been keeping an eye on the competition and has a message for fan favorite Mya as the competition moves into the homestretch. "Mya needs to step it up because she has been a frontrunner the whole time and now she's kind of 'pfft,'" he told People Saturday at the 2009 Breeders' Cup World Championships at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, Calif. "It's a marathon and not a race," Chmerkovskiy says of the show. "We still have two more weeks to go and those are the ones that count." He suggests keeping an eye on the dancers who may not always be at the top of the leader board. "Someone like Donny [Osmond], who is staying under the radar will definitely step up," he says.
