Naomi Watts, Tye Sheridan, Michael Imperioli and Norman Reedus are set to star in The Housewife, a psychological drama and feature debut from director Ben Shirinian.
Neon International will start shopping the film to foreign buyers at the Berlin Film Festival, with production set to kick off in June 2024. Based on a true story from 1964, The Housewife will see Sheridan play a young New York Times journalist tracking down a potential Nazi officer living secretly in Queens.
When he befriends the suspect’s charming wife, played by Watts, his investigation goes off track. Watts recently wrapped production on Audrey Diwan’s Emmanuelle, and is currently starring as Babe Paley in Ryan Murphy’s Feud: Capote vs. The Swans. Her other film credits include Penguin Bloom, Birdman, St. Vincent and Netflix’s The Watcher.

Wes Craven's 1991 horror hit "The People Under The Stairs" evades easy description. It's a movie that's at once chaotic, insightful, campy, hilarious, horrifying, and weird as hell. There are images in the movie that are impossible to unsee, and ideas about race and capitalism that felt prescient in the '90s and are more relevant than ever now.
"The People Under The Stairs" has been overdue for a remake and it's only fitting that it's finally in the works courtesy of the new master of social commentary-filled thrillers, Jordan Peele. Peele's production company Monkeypaw is at work on an update to Craven's original, and while there's still a lot we don't know about "The People Under the Stairs," we're creeping into the shadows to bring you all the details we can on this fresh take on a very freaky story. Here's everything we know so far.

Charlie Day is a talented guy. The man has brought the humor for years thanks to It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. And yes, Mr. Day shined in many a feature film including Fist Fight, Hotel Artemis, and the Lego Movie franchise. The actor is back, and this time he’s the writer, director, and producer of his latest, Fool’s Paradise. Taking on the insanity of Hollywood, Fool’s also features a terrific collection of talent that includes Kate Beckinsale, Ken Jeong, Jason Sudeikis, Adrien Brody, Ray Liotta, and even a few of his Sunny cast members. It’s a satire with sweetness, and it’s incredibly charming.
Recently, we spoke with Kate Beckinsale and Ken Jeong about their latest, and I even got a laugh or two out of them. The two opened up about taking on the craziness of a crazy town. They even talked about whether or...

This article contains spoilers for "House of the Dragon" episode four.
One of the great joys of reading the work of George R. R. Martin is the rich worldbuilding, describing the various locales of Westeros and Essos in great detail. While "Game of Thrones" had castles, throne rooms, and battlefields well represented, it rarely showed viewers what the rest of King's Landing was like. Other than some small moments with Arya (Maisie Williams) sneaking about and Cersei's (Lena Headey) walk of shame from the sept to the keep, King's Landing was mostly a mystery.
So far, "House of the Dragon" has brought more depth to some of the elements that felt underdeveloped in "Game of Thrones," and that includes a trip through the sketchier corners of the city courtesy of Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) in disguise. Dressed as a boy, the princess and her uncle Daemon (Matt Smith) take a tour of Flea Bottom,...
