- Ka'ramuu Kush was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is known for Five Deep Breaths (2003), The Number 23 (2007) and Salvation Road (2010).
- Earned his BA in Writing, Literature and the Arts from the New School University and MFA in Classical Drama (Acting and Directing) from Sarah Lawrence College.
- Founded The nukleUS Group, an acting collective, in collaboration with a host of some of the hottest young African American talents to migrate from NY theatre (during the early 2000s) inclusive of: Aisha Hinds, Russell Hornsby, Jamie Burton-Oare, Kenneth Atkins, Michael Ealy, Marcuis Harris and a host of others.
- Produced and starred as 'Malcolm X' in the 15th Anniversary production of Laurence Holder's Award winning play "When The Chickens Came Home To Roost" at Woodie King, Jr's New Federal Theatre (originally produced in 1981 directed by Allie Woods and starring Denzel Washington and Kirk Kirksey in which an NYU film student named Spike Lee originally conceived the idea to cast Washington as Malcolm X).
