RJ Thomas

RJ Thomas is an American Actor of Irish decent, born March 9th, 2001. His first professional film role came at the age of 21 when he landed the recurring guest star role of Johnny Fitzpatrick on Apple TV's Swagger, season 2.
RJ was raised in a small fishing town on the coast of North Carolina called Supply. A town were he learned the martial art of Tae Kwon Do in the back of a fishing market.
He was raised by his mother, Kristine Thomas, a Pilates Instructor, and father, Richard Thomas, a Home Inspector. Being close to the shore, he grew up loving the outdoors, including swimming, camping, kayaking, and hang gliding. By 15 he had become an Eagle Scout and was accepted into Brunswick County Early College High School.
It was in Early College that he developed his interest in the performing arts. He began performing on stage at the local community theater in such productions as Godspell, Grease, and Dear Edwina. These stage performances solidified his love of the craft and the art of acting. While performing in a highly acclaimed theater in Wilmington, NC, RJ was introduced to his current agent. From this point on, he decided to concentrate his career solely in the TV/ Film industry.
After graduating from Early College as Valedictorian in 2020, RJ was accepted to the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Initially, he tried convincing his parents that he didn't need a college degree and should move to Hollywood immediately. But with the desire to have their support, he agreed to attend university.
At Chapel Hill, he joined the UNC Student Television (STV) organization- a student run television station for the University. Within 2 years, he won 2 (STV) acting awards, played for the University's water polo team, and graduate with a 4.0 GPA earning a degree in Political Science.
Immediately after graduating from UNC, RJ packed up his $3,000, 20 year old pick up truck with everything he owned and moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Leaving all his friends and family to began his pursuit of becoming a professional actor.
Currently working as a bartender at Atlanta's premier modern Lebanese restaurant in Buckhead, RJ is training and developing his craft in anticipation for when operations resume post-strike and will be back and onto new adventures
