Here are a few interesting and/or noteworthy projects that were recently added to IMDbPro's database of development titles.
Anna Karenina- Three times a charm for Atonement and Pride & Prejudice duo Keira Knightley and Joe Wright. The pair are expected to reunite once more for a take on Leo Tolstoy's classic written by Shakespeare in Love scribe Tom Stoppard.
An Ordinary Man- Snagging cameo roles in The Hangover 2 and Battleship isn't enough to keep Liam Neeson busy. The actor is also looking to add this Brad Silberling-directed film to his growing list of percolating projects.
One Thousand White Women- Johnny Depp's Infinitum Nihil will produce this script based on Jim Fergus' novel about a fictitious post-civil war government program where the U.S. President offers 1,000 Caucasian women to the Cheyenne nation in order to strike a peace treaty.
Untitled CBGB Project- From Bottle Shock to punk rock. Producers Randall Miller and Jody Savin will follow-up their California vineyard comedy with a gritty biopic about the fallen New York night club, CBGB, and its founder Hilly Kristal. The club is credited with helping launch the music careers of such acts as The Ramones, Patti Smith, Talking Heads and Blondie.
A Place of Only Sky- Set in Uganda, this drama stars Miranda Richardson as a nun trying to help children who are being kidnapped and trained to become soldiers. Andrew Black writes and directs the film with Kynan Griffin producing.
If you know of something in the works (and it meets IMDb's listing criteria), you can submit it via our online submission form.

How shocking is it to know that a movie has finally been made about rampaging Orcs and Syfy has nothing to do with it? I don't think anyone who has ever watched Lord of the Rings or played Dungeons & Dragons would have ever envisioned "the ultimate Orcs movie" as being about inept park rangers battling Orcs running amok in a forest, but that's what the trailer for Orcs! promises.
One look at the trailer for the new creature feature Orcs!, in which an army of unleashed Orks terrorize a modern day national park, and you'll definitely sense Sam Raimi's influence.
From deep under the mountain, a horde of ancient warriors has been unleashed.
They prey on human fear.
They live to kill.
They are coming.
And they won’t stop until we’re all dead..
Orcs!
The ultimate Orcs movie is coming soon.

This is what awaits you if you visit the companion website for the upcoming MTV Networks’ web series, Valemont, which will premieres tomorrow for a 12-episode run on MTV before heading to an online-only release of the remaining 23 episodes. I had a chance to speak with co-creator Brent Friedman of Electric Farm about this unique transmedia experience that blends product placement, Arg elements, and web content into an exciting murder mystery plotline that may or may not have a supernatural twist. The multiplatform series stars a number of notable young actors like Nikki Blonsky, Kristen Hager, Georgina Reilly and Six Feet Under's Eric Balfour. For the specifics of how this project came together, we asked Friedman to fill us in. "Valemont originated about a year ago when Electric Farm Entertainment began discussions with MTV about producing a branded entertainment series," said Friedman. "I created the show with Christian Taylor,...

NEW YORK -- First Independent Pictures and Magnolia Home Entertainment are acquiring North American rights to the road comedy Moving McAllister starring Mila Kunis, Jon Heder and Rutger Hauer.
Producer-screenwriter-financier Ben Gourley stars as Rick Robinson, an ambitious Miami law firm intern who helps the top partner (Hauer) by moving his attractive niece (Kunis) across the country. With just five days before his bar exam, Robinson must cope with many time-slowing distractions, including a hitchhiker (Heder) and an attraction to his off-limits road partner.
Jason Faller, Kynan Griffin, T.R. Gourley and Maclain Nelson also produced the feature, which was directed by Andrew Black (Pride and Prejudice). It begins a platform rollout Sept. 14 in select cities.
"We were after this hysterical and touching film since (the 2006 American Film Market) and are also quite pleased to have made an alliance for this picture with Magnolia Home Entertainment," FIP president Gary Rubin said.
Other FIP releases include Edmond, starring William H. Macy and Julia Stiles, and The Great New Wonderful, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Edie Falco.
