Jack and Rebecca Pearson‘s fight to legally adopt their African-American son, Randall, led to a tense moment in Tuesday’s episode of This Is Us.
“The Most Disappointed Man” explored the emotional power of the judicial system circa 1981 as Milo Ventimiglia and Mandy Moore‘s characters attempt to make the Big Three official.
Much as how the NBC drama has consistently discussed real-world issues, Randall’s adoption once again touched on race.

Warring couple Katie Price and Peter Andre have been granted a quickie divorce at London's High Court on Tuesday after almost four years of marriage.
The duo's divorce proceeding lasted just over a minute, with District Judge Bradley granting them a decree nisi, which would mean they will then have six weeks to wait before a decree absolute, which finalizes their divorce, is granted.
After their names were read out, it was revealed that both had petitioned for divorce. The situation makes no difference to their divorce or to any of the financial deal or parental rights they have. It just means that neither of them will have to admit being responsible for their break-up.
Andre and Price, who married in September 2005 and announced their separation in May, allegedly already negotiated a financial settlement and joint custody of their two children: 4-year-old Junior and 2-year-old Princess.

The petitions are among 21 undefended cases that will be heard by Judge Bradley in the High Court today, though both Price and Andre are not expected to appear at the hearing. A source told (more)...
