Exclusive: Snafu With Ed Helms, the iHeartPodcast hosted by Helms about history’s greatest screwups, has been renewed for a second and third season. The podcast is a production of iHeartPodcasts, FilmNation Entertainment & Pacific Electric Picture Co. in association with Gilded Audio. The second season is produced by Alyssa Martino and Tory Smith for FilmNation, and produced and written by Sara Joyner, Stephen Wood, and Albert Chen for Gilded Audio.

The International Animated Film Society, Asifa-Hollywood, has announced the nominations for the 43rd Annual Annie Awards and "Inside Out" and "The Good Dinosaur," both Pixar movies, led the pack! "Inside Out" received fourteen nominations while "The Good Dinosaur" got nine.
My pick of the year for best animated feature is "Inside Out" but I love Charlie Kaufman's "Anomalisa" as well which picked five noms.

Police are seeking five male teens suspected of brutally beating a homeless man in Ventura, California. John Stephen Wood was attacked on Sunday evening without provocation after loaning one of the teens a lighter, according to a news release from the Ventura Police Department. Authorities say the suspects hit Wood, 46, with a bat. As he tried to escape, the suspects ran him down and stabbed him six times. Wood was taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. Fuel VFX has received two award nominations from the Visual Effects Society.
The.peer-voted accolade for the company's work on Ridley Scott.s Prometheus follows the near-collapse of the VFX house, which was saved in October 2012 when Animal Logic acquired its assets.
Fuel co-founder Paul Butterworth was nominated for .Outstanding Visual Effects in a Visual Effects-Driven Feature Motion Picture. for Prometheus (alongside non-Fuel nominations Charley Henley, Allen Maris and Richard Stammers).
The Fuel team of Xavier Bourque, Sam Cole, Simone Riginell and Denis Scolan - representing the hard work of all 16 compositors who worked on the film at the company - were nominated for Prometheus (Engineers & the Orrery) in the "Outstanding Compositing in a Feature Motion Picture" category.
