Gawker media has filed two motions appealing a jury's decision to award $140 million last month to Hulk Hogan after the website posted portions of a sex tape involving the wrestler. A St. Petersburg, Florida, jury awarded Hogan $115 in compensatory damages plus an additional $25.1 in punitive damages. Hogan, 62, whose real name is Terry Bollea, claimed his privacy was violated when Gawker...

Gawker released nine seconds of a sex tape featuring Hogan and his former best friend's then-wife Heather Clem, in 2012. Residents of Boston and its surrounding towns are on lockdown as police search for a second suspect in Monday's marathon bombings. Gov. Deval Patrick has told residents to "stay indoors, with their doors locked." As the story develops, here's what we know: The prime suspects, Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnayev, were involved in violent exchanges with police last night that left older brother Tamerlan, 26, dead. When police caught up with them, they began to throw explosives out of the car. When officers fired back, they killed the older brother, Tamerlan, while Dzhokhar escaped. Dzhokhar, still at large,...
