- Jeff Lane was born to a military family at Fort Meade, Maryland. After graduating from college at Northeastern University in Boston, Jeff joined the Army as an officer. While stationed in Virginia, Jeff started his film acting career as a FBI Agent in Toy Soldiers (1991).
Jeff left the Army and moved to Phoenix and became a police officer/detective with the Tempe Police Department. He served as the Public Relations Officer and was the creator, writer, producer, and director of an Arizona Cox cable television show called 'Tempe StreetBeat' (2000-2005).
Jeff also wrote, produced and directed several award winning PSAs from 2001-2005. He won four awards from the International Media Communications Association (MCA-I).
Jeff is known as a producer and director Lady Doctor (2023), but he still continues to act in roles such as portraying Judge Sniffen in this true story The Dog Bite Murders (2023).
